you can get FILCOs from Moderno as well (Here)...and Inter-Asia.. though Inter-Asia's website state nothing on their product page, only the logo.

What is the overall consensus here regarding Filco vs Ducky?
I'm going to Japan soon, and might consider to get a mechanical keyboard there. AFAIK Filcos are available, but not Duckys. Anyway, if I do have the time to spare (and work doesnt lock me up during weekends), i'll drop by Akihabara and check out the Filcos. Perhaps i might even organise a bulk |

QUOTE(daijoubu @ May 29 2011, 09:21 PM) What is the overall consensus here regarding Filco vs Ducky? How much cheaper will the FILCOs be direct from Japan? If it's not much, definitely better to get it locally since Inter-Asia now carries FILCO products so warranty will be less hassle also if there's anything wrong with it.I'm going to Japan soon, and might consider to get a mechanical keyboard there. As far as i know, stock avaibility for filco in Malaysia quite limited. I think you can get ur filco only from Czone and CEX now. others migth have no stock now |

I think the FKBN87M/EB are circa RM400 and the FKB104M/EB are circa RM335. are they reasonable compared to local ones?I see from the list Ducky have more followings than Filco. Are Ducky better? Topre seems way too expensive for my blood |

Based on Amazon JP price, I saw something about 7000 - 8000 yen for the FILCO with Cherry MX switches, so thats pretty cheap. Or consider the FILCO Zeros for the LOLs. Those are dirt cheap.I see from the list Ducky have more followings than Filco. Are Ducky better? Topre seems way too expensive for my blood If you can find the Realforce and HHKB in Yahoo JP auctions, those might be worth it. |

Perhaps i should consider getting local due to the warranty. Then quite similar, local unit FKBN87M/EB2 (aka Majestouch 2) SRP is RM409. Does Filcos / Duckys spoil easily? What are the probability of requiring warranty? |

I've used both and Filco has a shorter "travel distance" meaning that keycaps are "shorter", based on my experience.I see from the list Ducky have more followings than Filco. Are Ducky better?
