I think the FKBN87M/EB are circa RM400 and the FKB104M/EB are circa RM335. are they reasonable compared to local ones?
I see from the list Ducky have more followings than Filco. Are Ducky better? Topre seems way too expensive for my blood
I think the reason why there's more Ducky in the list is because of the availability (back then) and word of mouth. I have two Duckies myself. Well actually just 1 (1008), the DK-1087 that I just received is a lemon. CapsLock, S, F, H, K, ;, Enter, and left-Alt key is not working. I suspect it's a controller problem as the non-working keys are alternating. Just went to POSLAJU and posted it back to PCHOME for a refund/replacement for a cool hundred bucks. Still won't detract me from shopping at PCHOME as Filcos aren't exempted from these kinds of problem.I see from the list Ducky have more followings than Filco. Are Ducky better? In terms of build quality they are just OKAY-GOOD in my opinion. I still like it though due to it's price and detachable cables. 4 months of heavy usage (>12 hours/day and lots of SC2), my DK-1008 is still going strong.
Just go get the Filcos if RM400 is within your budget. If possible test all the switches before you commit and if not, MX Browns is a safe choice.
