any cards associate with Caltex for cash rebate or points collection?
Have been searching but dont find any compliment cards for Caltex.
What's the BCard mentioned above?
*
bcard is owned and managed by bloyalty s/b, a wholly-owned subsidiary of berjaya corporation berhad.
you may register for a bcard for FREE here: http://www.bcard.com.my/v3/?page_id=706
yes, you may use it at caltex but i was told that they were in soft launch which means you may only collect/redeem points at the participating caltex.
the participating outlets are listed here: https://www.bcard.com.my/v3/?page_id=59&coid=B0095

QUOTE(vergas @ Oct 14 2013, 10:17 AM)
So if I have OCBC Titanium MasterCard and Maybankard 2 AMEX , the strategy is to use OCBC in weekdays and AMEX weekend?
*
yes, you may use this strategy.
or if you have uob one card, you may try this way:
weekdays - uob one card - 5%+2% at bhp stations only
weekends - mbb amex - 5%+2% at any petrol stations

ocbc titanium just as back up for petrol (so you can use it at other 5% categories like dining/groceries/bills)

Slight correction, as BHP you have eCard to factor in. For max benefits, correct me if I'm wrong, but with UOB One Platinum, BHP eCard you're getting an effective cashback of

Everyday @ BHP
5% + 2% $MART + 0.9% BHP eCard = 7.9% effective.

versus

MBB Amex 2 Plat Weekend
5% + 1.9% TP + 1.5% Smiles = 8.4% effective

Not too bad, since not all of us can wait till the weekend to fill the tank up.

yes, you are right... if you are taking in loyalty cards into consideration (especially bhp ecard vs smiles reward), on top of credit cards comparison. nod.gif

Ok, since OCBC is only 1% now then :

Weekend - MBB Amex,
Weekdays - MBB Amex first still? Since Treat Points =2%?
Then OCBC still backup, since 1%, or are there any better cards?

uob tit? as in uob titanium? what card is that?

yes, mbb2 still better if you manage to use your amex card at the places you go.
it's just not that widely accepted yet... as compared to visa/mastercard.

good thing you informed it's a typo.
otherwise i will be thinking you signed up the uob titanium in thailand ---> http://www.uob.co.th/personal/credit-card-...-mastercard.htm
so the thai uob cc sales officer you saw in her whatsapp may not be a lady but a ladyboy! drool.gif whistling.gif

So if I frequent BHPetrol on weekdays, the best would be UOB One + eCard?

Well...since now OCBC Titanium has renewed their cash back...and Wise (It requires a certain amount of swap and $$ spent right?) what else is good for petrol? Maybank 2 cards?
