5% cash back
- OCBC Titanium MasterCard  / UOB ONE Card

5% + 5x TreatsPoints
- Maybankard 2 AMEX (weekends only)

10% cash back
- HLB WISE Card
*
Hmm some of them I am not eligible as my annual income is not that much sweat.gif HLB Wise and UOB ONE Card is eligible for me now. Hmm I wanna ask the UOB ONE Card petrol rebate... it says 5% rebate. Do I need to reach certain amount to get the rebate?

UON ONE classic needs to swipe for 60x per year in order to waive the annual fee; meaning min 5 swipes per month.

Petrol spending capped at RM 300; meaning max cash rebate this category is RM 300.

Hmm..I see! Thanks a lot.

Cut and then reapply bro

Isnt there a 6 month cool down period after u cut?

Btw, just called and asked...need to clear all payment first before cutting it. My annual fee charging date is on 12th August..so I will clear it end of this month and then cut it.

Maybank Islamic ikhwan gold or platinum entitle for 5% petrol and grocery rebate every Friday and Saturday.free for life .
*
Yea it's one of the option...another 2 options would be Citibank Cash Rebate and UOB One card but they are not free for life. However they can be used any days. I don't do much groceries shopping..it's mostly my parents and they like to do it on Sat and Sun...so Ikhwan card might not suit this situation hmm.gif

my advise, clear and cut it before AF imposed. HLB very %^&** insisting you pay the AF as well if being charged or they will offer u another card to continue so that your wise AF will be reverse out but unable to use anymore
*
Well I called and ask if I could cancel the card before settling the payment.. they said cannot. So I settled the bill and cancel them..then they say need 3 to 5 working days and the cc team will call me to confirm again.

thats why as i said, clear and cut. you need to clear off before they allow to cut.

If you dont believe me, you can try wait until the AF pop out
*
Clear and cancel liao. Not sure how long it will come to effect hmm.gif

As I know you need to be "new to card" to have them waive the AF

which means 12 months not 6 months sweat.gif
*
Yea already expected no waived annual fee for second year. So just gonna cut it and substitute with other card ba laugh.gif

I know but you cannot immediate apply after you terminate ma.....
need at least a year for the cool down period
I did that last year lol
soon going to be a year
need to call and ask see I entitle for the NF waived or not laugh.gif
*
If I can utilize the 100 rebate every month I don't mind paying for the annual fee..but sadly I get about 30-50 rebates every month only so the annual fee is not worth paying laugh.gif

Hi guys, I applied PB Petron Visa card for my dad cause he pumped Petron petrol but now I noticed he like to pump both Petron and BHP XD. Is there any card that can utilize such petrol spendings?

Oh another thing to add, his spendings includes random day...so that means could be weekdays or weekends sweat.gif

The pbpetron visa only entitle cash back if u spent on petron station
*
Ya lo that's the thing. He like to pump petrol at both BHP and Petronas.....so the card can't utilize rebate fully. One way is to use 2 cards but it'll be troublesome to manage.
