Ara Damansara branch ???

I submitted before Raya week, they also told me the same thing
I even called to customer service few times n complaint as no record shown !

Yesterday was 3rd time...

The officer from Ara Damansara branch came to my office at Glenmarie for my NRIC and thumbprint exactly 2 weeks ago.
The day after that, I emailed her all the supporting docs.

Last week I whatsap her and she told me that normally take abt 2 weeks for processing

Maybe can try Shah alam branch in Section 14
I submit there and surprisingly got my card already.

I got my card today.
However, i just read their tnc:

For every One Ringgit Malaysia (RM) charged on every transaction made at BHPetrol
stations AFFINBANK terminal in Malaysia with BHPetrol Card,

is all bhp station using AFFINBANK terminal on their pump island？
or need to walk in to cashier?

I have submitted my application for AFFINBANK BHPetrol 'Touch & Fuel' Contactless Mastercard yesterday by email to "cardservices@affinbank.com.my".

Let's see how soon they can process with it.

Know the people sharing here the process is extremely slow

I guess you still need to go and submit form from what i heard.
That's why i straight went to nearest branch and submit form.

Oh is it ?? I applied through RP and get to know the email address to be send.

Will follow up on the application from time to time then

my weekly ritual calling up Affin CS, finally a different answer.

card was approved on 11 July, but will take up to 14 days delivery.

as of now, no news of the physical card. if by this week no news, need to call again for replacement. ZZzzzzz...

Form from RP is out-dated.
RP will ask u to submit physically to branch

that was what i faced when i applied before raya.

just called Affin CS, they finally my application is in their system showing "pending" status.

CS mentioned it was submitted on 18 July and i have to wait for 10 to 14 working days to know result.

I have downloaded the new form, fill in and email them.

Is their email also out dated one ?? Otherwise, need to walk in then

this card would be my 1st card on chopping board if sst fee confirmed.

Really vomit blood lah this Affinbank CC application

I submitted my application and got my thumbprint and hardcopy signature taken on the spot by Affinbank staff on 5th July 2018 and just now when I called the CS, lol and behold my application is not in the system.

So I told the CS the name and email address of the Affin staff that I submitted my application and few minutes later she called and apologized as although my application have been submitted to the HQ, it has not been processed yet.
Reason being she said they have many applications this time around and take longer than usual to process.

If not because of the Affinbank-BHP MC that offers 10% CB on fuel during the weekend and BHP have 2 stations with Euro5 diesel in Taman Melawati, I won't be bother following up with my application.

At the pace they are going, maybe more than 1 month before I know the status of my application

i can't find the 10% rebate from it's website or in RP? is there any minimum spend needed to get 10% rebate?

any spend will get 10% max RM 50

called CS and screwed them kawkaw for the abnormally slow, "blackhole" processing status.

and guess what: that 11 July "approval" was just date of processing in the sytem, not even approved! i submitted to branch just before Raya so, it took 1 month for the forms to "walk itself" over to affin cc dept then "walk into" the system. yep, that sounds about the right progress indeed.

asked to cancel the application instead, and guess what again, i cannot do that over call. i need to WRITE to them. good.

wrote one long nasty email to affin, cc-ed to BNM. few minutes later, one rep called and said to process my application (what?! again?). told her i'm expecting approval status, NOT processing progress which was not moving for the past 1mth+.

anyway, i told her to cancel the application ASAP without anymore delay, excuses, etc. told her i will keep monitoring this, just in case they conveniently "forgot" to terminate the card, knowing their so-called progress.

1 less card to manage. really not worth the hassle and of course the incoming SST (if any).
