When did you submit the application?

I applied the Affinbank BHP credit card as well, has been 10 days and still no news. Checked with the credit card banker and he says still no record yet. Sigh.

mine was 1 month to get it updated into the system still not status.

Aduuiii....that's the slowest credit card application I've seen so far

called Affin bank customer service again just now

i complaint i called last week and until today nobody call back...
the CS promised will get Ara branch to call back me by today...

Finally someone called Victoria from branch called back....

she explained that my application submitted on 7th July to credit card centre... pending approval and checking on my data ie salary...

that's why no update into system. Only when approved, only update into system...

i asked how many days more i need to wait... cant give me answer by saying many applications...

Ntg much attractive for their cc..
If I'm not wrong, the most un-attractive credit card in Malaysia..

At least AM better than Affin..

Affin bank WMC is the only that still offer priority pass.

28/6 CC received my application
16/7 Approved by CC
18/7 Card will be posted by normal pos and get it within 7 working days.

That WMC is almost premium customers and can enjoy entrance airport premium lounge.

From your post and others before this, looks like it still take about a month from submission to approval and postage...

No idea why the CC officer that handling my application from the Ara branch told me processing time will take about 2 weeks

If not because Affin BHP offers 10% CB on fuel during the weekend, I won't be bothered.
But as I used about RM400/month on Euro5 diesel and with 2 BHP stations in Tmn Melawati offering Euro5 compared to other brands, makes it worthwhile for me.

Other than this benefit, I don't see any other reasons though

That's the disadvantages only applicable for BHP to enjoy CB. The rest petrol EXCEPT BHP no CB at all.
Unless you always by pass the BHP petrol station everyday, then it is another story.

Indeed,
If one doesn't pump at BHP on regular basis, will most probably negate the CB offered.
But for my fuel usage, I reckons I'll get RM40-50 CB/month based on my current fuel consumption.

Right now my MBB Ikhwan Petronas only gives 8% CB during weekend and I'm getting about RM30-40/mth CB but there is only 1 Petronas pump with Euro5 nearby Taman Melawati.
