Guys, just wondering... on the d7000 there is an "info" button that puts the information on the main LCD (aperture, shutter speed etc)... does the d3100 have that?

learn more technical stuffs such as shutter speed, aperture and ISO; and how to use them.

best to start by either asking unker google or going through the user manual smile.gif and welcome to the dark side!

on another note, just came back from Putrajaya hot air balloon fiesta. feeling so sleepy now  yawn.gif

I was there at 7am something.

Now going again with other friends. lol

Oh, on another note, I think I saw someone using a D3s + 400mm (very huge thing can't tell the range but definitely bigger than 70-200). Feels heavy only by looking at it. laugh.gif

The schedule is available online: http://www.myballoonfiesta.com/itinerary.html

Only 7am ~ 9am and 6pm ~ 7pm. You got one last chance today, provided if it didn't rain.

request lens easy.. just tell them the lens you want test(anyone that works there, got few black shirts and one white shirt guy ;D ) and they will open the cabinet, take out the lens, help you remove your current lens and put the lens you request.. then snap snap snap ;D

Just now went BTS try 16-35 and 17-55, omg..... I fell in love with the 17-55 so much n make up my mind to get it instead of 16-35, the colour saturation n contrast so much better.... mayb I using dx so can't unleash the potential of 16-35

Question , i use AF-C , Dynamic Area and used AF-ON can recompose my subjec?and that can make me get sharp image?(Assume my exposure correct)Thanks for teaching me.

1. no use recomposing with dynamic area, unless of cos the subject when recompose is not within the area.
2. why dont u use single point? why trust the camera to focus on what u want when it might not?
3. and AF-ON is the same as pressing ur shutter half-way to focus and will track in AF-C...if u had even tried u would already know.
if u want to recompose in AF-C, what u need to use is AF-lock.
