QUOTE(Tony Stark @ Mar 20 2011, 08:43 PM) have u ever heard of panning? and what are u trying to shoot anyway?is it a fast moving object? i cant understand when u said u r trying to recompose moving subject Hi Tony ! Is okay d lar =DAdded on March 20, 2011, 8:45 pm usually it happens when u use it wide open. example f1.8/f1.4. it'll go away if u use smaller apertures. Everydying taught me already. Btw, are you going to sell 5d Mark II? This post has been edited by SSY22: Mar 20 2011, 10:15 PM |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Mar 20 2011, 09:56 PM) seems to me u dont understand what AF-C is. Everdying, thanks for clearing me. I tot you talking about AF-S. My bad for not understand you.C = continuous, as long as the point is on the subject it will focus. eg. the pic below is AF-C, single point, but moved to the right side focusing on the stomach so it will be on the player. [attachmentid=2106817] So with AF-C+Single point , i can recompose my subject right ? Let say i am using center focus on my subject which is on middle in my viewfinder , so i wan to recompose it to right. So is that works ? in what situation using dynamic area? |

QUOTE(SSY22 @ Mar 20 2011, 10:17 PM) Everdying, thanks for clearing me. I tot you talking about AF-S. My bad for not understand you. u cant in AF-C and single point, cos once u center focus on ur subject and move, and since its AF-C the focus will then readjust to whatever is in the new center...unless u first AF-lock and then recompose. So with AF-C+Single point , i can recompose my subject right ? Let say i am using center focus on my subject which is on middle in my viewfinder , so i wan to recompose it to right. So is that works ? in what situation using dynamic area? if dont want to use AF-lock, either move the focus point with the D-pad, or use AF-S. |

Using AF-C + Single Point. As long as you half pressed and follow the subject then u will stay in focus. While if using AF-C + dynamic, if my subject leave the point where i focus , it will select a new point to focus it izzit? |
