What viscosity recommended for WIra 1.3 earoback eh? xw-30? 40? 50? My Wira has been using mineral oil for the last 11 years. The engine still ok since the engine dint consume or burn the engine oil. I thought wanna change to full synthetic after this.
xW40 normally.QUOTE(phadly @ Aug 9 2011, 08:57 PM)

I am driving a 2001 wira gli. i need some help from /k/.
1) when i use my remote to lock my car, sometimes the signal light on the right will be on and wont go out. it is only for the right side, both front and back.
2) during hot days, especially afternoon, when i change from 3rd or 4th gear to 2nd, my engine will just stall. this happens occasionally after parking my car under the sun.
is there any pro out there that can help me out?

1. wiring or relay problem, wireman can check
2. is it manual? when last time you change gearbox oil?

Comment problem for 4G9x & 4G1x Engine with TB running on ICV, whereby the gear always spoil. i changed few times, just the gear. Won't last you long. Change the whole TB, if you don't wanna use FICD.
Then will have clean engine bay. Without any hose flying here and there...hope this help
nice write up. now you running on 1 or 2 FICD?» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

from your TB pic, seem you taken the whole bottom part out. the connector that connect to the ISC is not needed anymore? will it trigger some sort of limp mode by the ECU? what about the auto choke?
