my mechanic is at lorong pandan... behind nasi ayam special, beside the badminton court... they quite good at both service and modifications... but could be slightly slow in their work... normal la, malay mechanic take their sweet time one, unlike chinese mechanics everything need to finish fast....

price not sure... depends how damaged is ur car and what required to change or replace... should be few hundred bux laa... probably wont exceed 500....

tahan lama or not depend on how u use the car also laa... morning warm up the car dont rev so hard, let it warms up normally.... valve seal use good one... sure can tahan lama one, at least for another 3-4 years or so.... my car whack here n there high rev often, so far so good no leaking whatsoever, no engine oil reduction....
