anyone know how much cost for changing engine mounting?and how to know that our car need to change mounting...
*
1 bijik RM30-50, got 4 mounting. Workmanship shouldn't be expensive coz Wira mounting position is quite easy to take out. If you see your mounting rubber all cracked out or torn then you need to change it.

cute_boboi, Normally mechanic will ask to change the belt if it covered in oil. Not sure sikalan or not, but better change lar coz if the belt snap or come off from the cams your engine will suffer serious damage.

Hi everyone...my wira fuel reading not accurate...after fillup rm50 just up one bar line...problem bcoz of fuel pump? Fuel consumption also nw reduce...last I can reach 300km fill fuel for rm50.....nw juz reached 200km.... Pls reply...thanks for reply

And also pls recommend fuel pump brand...walbro?prize?I checked at kaki motor prize is rm350 reasonable...
*

it's not fuel pump for the fuel reading, maybe your meter spoil or the the gauge in the fuel tank spoil.

many reason for increased fuel consumption. more weight in the car, worn out spark plug/engine oil/gearbox oil/timing belt/clutch disc or plate, spoil throttle body/O2 sensor/meter/etc. but filling up RM50 to gauge the mileage i feel not very accurate, should fill up till full, drive till almost empty, fill up till full again and calculate the mileage and used up fuel.

QUOTE(centaurking @ Jun 4 2011, 10:36 PM)
hi all sifu here, wan to ask something about my 10+ year 1.5 wira carburetor.
Recently, my car facing an annoying problem. I send to workshop, the foreman also can't detect the problem. Hope your guys can help me.

my car very hard to start if fail to start at the first time. Which mean that, if i can't start the car once clicking the key, then the car would take few minutes to start. The car have normal sound "kek kek kek", but the car can't start.

The foreman already check the ignition and fuel pump, there is no problem for this part. is that anyone facing this problem b4?

Note: normally this thing happen when the car stop around half an hour to 2 hour. it woun't happen if i stop and start the car immediately and also more than 2 hour.
*

maybe is your battery plate not good already. last time i also facing same issue, the car cannot start after driving a while, but after change the battery i never encounter this issue anymore. get your foreman to check the battery with voltmeter to know the condition. if just changed battery recently or battery still in good condition but still got problem starting maybe you wanna add relay to the starter, heard of Wira issue that the electric that go to starter is not enough to power it.

Im using the same gear oil.. the ratio seems different after i change my engine oil..
Any suggestion sifus
*
i'm not driving auto so don't really know about auto problem.
but i have heard before that auto car will change gear depends on how you press the accelerator, fully press means you wanna go fast so it will change gear at higher RPM while normal press means it will change gear like usual.

brothers.how to noe our absorber especially back already out and rosak one?how much cost for replace it and can anybody suggest absorber tht value buy?
*
when you go over a bump or pothole, if it bounce 1 time then stable means it still good. if bounces few times then no good ard. value buy should be like Kayaba, APM or Monroe. avoid funny2 brand that never heard one before as it may be recond abs.

btw, you car height is it the same or have lowered from previously? if have lowered you better change the spring also.

abs for front RM125 per-pc? about there lar, sometime can get around RM100 per-pc. for back about RM100 for both.

you want tonggek either you buy Waja/heavy duty spring for the back (expensive) or buy the highest rubber bushing for back (cheaper).

he is looking for "starter" sound, not "speaker" sound...

my wira front right side tyre there got sound already, it's the sound like "flip flip flip" when i drive above 80kmh..what's the problem actually? absorber/bush/banana leaf?

i did check whether got something block the tyre but nothing..clear..but the sound still haunts me.  icon_question.gif
*
maybe the disc brake cover thing bended and scratches against the disc. lst time mine also got sound, just use screw driver or something long to push it inwards.

lols , i dunno what u mean by banana leaf but, its the rubber thing attaches at the arch, cause the sound as 'typed' by you sound like that to me
*
true, could be also. maybe 1 of the screw have dropped and when the car speeding, the thing got pushed to the tyre and causes the noise.

From your explanation, is it car meter show 100km/h, GPS show 110km/h? And which one is the accurate one?
My wira currently experience this, car meter show 110km/h, GPS show 122km/h (difference of 12km/h)

GB = gearbox? means my gearbox die-ing?

Let me fix my previous statement a bit.
First thing is, my speedometer showing correct value?
Second thing is, any error with my RPM (engine,GB, watsoever)?
*
something wrong with your speedo meter already. normally GPS will show reading slower than meter, not the other way around.

the one with big yellow Continental sign? their pricing fair ah?
so far i've been to the falken shop at bukit st paul, and also the bridgestone at semabok area.
both only satisfactory, their tyre prices not really cheap.
the one i used to go was also in malim, the moh seng tyre (dunlop/goodyear signboard, forgot) but i stopped going for 2 tyre change liao coz they dun have the tyre i wanted. tat time was looking for yokohama a-drive, and next i was looking for falken ziex912's.
*
well, i feel their price fair lar. malim there got many tyre shop, so competition high maybe thats why they give more lower price.
