i only having this as weekend ride, tesco and balik kampung. Plan to drive it for another 2 -4 years. Mainly will be city driving.

So, should I just buy a 1.3 and save RM 1k or RM 2k instead of buying 1.5. Then can use the money to service the car or wateva.

Sorry for asking long, coz in tight budget here.

you save a 'few' K only.. but with 1.3... you cant overtake cars safely.. your FC high.. you wont enjoy the ride..
somemore you say you need it for tesco (heavy with stuff) and balik kampung (lagi heavy load).. you will cry with the underpower engine. i would say, not worth the money that you save by getting wira 1.3.

I don't think you should buy a car just for use of 2-4 years. Car are costly to maintain and value depreciate very quickly.

How to put this in words.... hmm.gif
I'm very young (age 23) and do not want to burden myself with a Vios, City, Myvi, Persona. Which I have to make installment 700 - 1000 per month.

Hence, i decided to get a Wira as it is cheaper in maintenance and I could cash and carry.

Plan to drive for 2-4 years and by any change, my financial is more stable, bought a house, then might get a bigger / nicer car. Else, I will continue driving this car if the car is in good condition. Or I might buy a new car and keep Wira, that will happen when I married.

But all these are still future, which are uncertain. Now is to get myself a WIRA 1.5, joining u guys soon. rclxm9.gif

Good move you have.... But then once you get used to Wira's interior space, you will find you will be hard to get a car as comfort as Wira(but safety wise it is not up to par yet)... Whereby the T and H's highest end sedad's interior space can be on par with it.... Others, well, you test it yourself to get the answers.
If you are doing 20-30kkm a year, rm1000 is the cost for you to keep Wira on its best condition after the first potential rm5000 spent. Which is relatively cheap compare to new cars.
Cash and carry will be the best for the second hand car.....

you got craving for speed or modding the car?
if not then 1.5 is enough.

if got then better get 1.6 or better 1.8. so many performance modding possibilities. brows.gif

Sit the wira so long already, the other day my parents go test the persona, they say the back feels tighter.

Btw, back to my old question, does the air filter really make a big diff? either open pod or drop in.

Heard many say car feels lighter, ie rpm climbs faster. Personally, I only use stock filter.

For me, FC are the most important factor.... Change air filter may help on power, but FC....
Make it this way, Wira is like a "sports" car, due to the seat are lower compare to others... When we are young, it is ok to have such seat... But as time goes by, well, higher seats are the best...
