Well, at least it worked on my car.....
But then my car met with serious accident before on back which it cause some uneven surface, so I can get wind noise from back... But front door after change the rubber seal, it do help a lot. Before change, I can even get outside smell....
That's why, I never trust those so-called sound proof can help... Because a lot of people are stupid enough to get conned by acc shop operators that lurking around here....

agree.. last time i use rubber seal.. ownself think got difference ny.. maybe psychologically think so since pay money for it.. passengers feel no diff.. but after i change sound system, i happy, passengers oso happy rclxms.gif

3k that was worth spending, go slow less noise sounds even better.. so it encourages light foot thus better FC.. 1 stone pawn 2 bird bird..

mitsu design wira as a rally car, proton copy exactly...
no point sound proof bcoz no matter wut out side sound still will come in.. u have to bare wit it..
the best way upgrade ur sound system n blast all d way...

+1 on this tongue.gif
but decent sound proofing also helps, especially when raining then the roof not so noisy.
also when go at anything over 80, good ones will also help reduce wind noise etc.
mine 2yrs+ already still ok.

Sound proofing more or less still does lessen the sound. After I put the cheapo mat on my front bonnet inside, can hear the engine sound do lower a bit.

Make it this way : if you want a "complete" sound proofing, you will need to apply silicone gum on your windows, bonet cover and boot cover. Else, no matter what you do, it won't give you good results.... Espcially old cars.

My temperature gauge, recently always jump from middle bar to maximum. But after sometime, 10-20 minutes, it will goes back to middle. I can still drive the car, stuck in traffic and also go 80-100km/h during that time, no smoke (water vapour), etc. Engine sound normal.

I've changed the temperature sensor, and my foreman says most likely is the speedometer (VDO) unit faulty.

(1) However, I'm skeptical if it is VDO or intermittend water pump faulty ? Radiator no water leak so far.

(2) How much is a 2nd hand VDO cost ?

Wira 1.5M year 2002 with white VDO. Is it common to have this problem ?

Thanks

VDO.... As far as I know, only the speedo are easy to fail.... As for radiator issue, whenever it shows high, do check your radiator fan.

Auto or manual ? 4G15 is underpowered, so it is normal for poor pick up especially uphill. For me, I drive fast from bottom so that I have the momentum and maintain high speed. If I have to brake, then too bad. Even drop gear still slow.
