how long you have submitted the defect list?

Just went to check my house. Still no progress after a month.
Based on my observation, week 1 - got done repair. Week 2, 3 and 4 - no progress.

What are they doing? I want to make a complain!!!!

Same fate here bro!...i also cannot start renovation. Look like i need extend my room rental to end of dec 2013.

then please wait for another month

Today i make a complained to them via phone. According to them different contractor fix different issue and they go by batch. So for my issue, they said different contractor. I 'm quite frustrated as i told them
1. you forget to call me back after agree to call me.
2. Already a month. 1 week got progress on rectify my issue, 2nd , 3rd and 4th week no progress. So how long it is going to take to rectify my defect? They thought i'm stupid, just sit and wait without checking my defect every week. Finally i told them, please give me a date when developer going to complete my defect.
Well , they said will check out and call me back tomorrow.
Let wait and see tomorrow.

Well, my patience has ran out as i already gave them a month and no progress mean no progress...

yup. i called them. they will fix it in a week before call for 1st inspection. after a month, we can push them .

i have checked when wash during defect checking. here is what i found
a) Kitchen - the level is a bit down to the holes there. So water will move to that side. This probably correct as it suppose to flow to the holes
b) Both bathroom - so far so good

After waited 5 week, the contractor still cannot give status. Finally developer has arrange that i do 1st inspection as no status from contractor who suppose to fix my defect. they has arranged project coordinator & contractor to do 1st inspection. Wish me good luck!

So disappointed after visit my house. Giving extra 1 week also no progress..Either contractor or project coordinator going to get scold by me on Monday when do 1st inspection

Complained effective. This morning i saw most defect has rectify. Still got some minor and early in the morning the worker has been here to change the damage tiles. Hmmm...they work overnight..(thinking)
Anyway, let see how the inspector say later...

You need to complain more harder. Like me, i have wrote a long email of complain & picture of the defect and tell them that i'm not happy. Today i have visited my house and IOI office again.
Everyone @ Admin office know my unit as i have been chasing them every week either call or visit their office. Well based on today inspection, they has rectify 2 defect. Another 6 more to go and i complain to office again. Anyway, according to them today suppose got one supervisor go to my house and check. So they take note and make sure another 6 outstanding defect to rectify.
Just signed 1st defect form and move outstanding defect to 2nd form. They want me to fill up 3rd form based on my personal check today. I've complained again why i need to fill up form as 1st move to 2nd. So stupid want me to move to 3rd form.

Complain more if over 30 days of defect...

According to them, they will call me when defect rectify. anyway, i told them sorry. Wait for you to call me , i will die more faster. So i will call back every week to check my status. I give another 1 more week and i will come again to complain...

Sometimes, you need to need push them as i have seen their rectify work is do last minute. So i dont want to be a stupid boy and wait...30 day has over and my patience has ran out.

Anyway, i have ask my renovation contractor to start work. Just two days, they have start work fast on kitchen cabinet, plumbing and electrical.

It is agriculture land. So terminate problem sure will have...

they don't have worker to fix so many defect. Been chasing them every week till i also fed up. It is good that now heavy rain. See if got any water leaking or stain. Last Saturday, I'm there to check on roof while heavy rain. So far no stain/water from ceiling.


Do you see stain or water come down?

By the way, did your air con power (living & master bedroom) and water heater electrical plug is working? Mine no power. Till now not yet fix.

No point calling. Just went straight to office and complain everyday.

If call, everytime give same excuses. So boring

hahha...must be use up all the tiles to fix at my house. Been complaining them about tiles. Now tiles all fixed up. Now just left line crack on side ceiling and no power on air con & water heater plug + dustbin crack

Today went in to check my house. Renovation progress very well and expected to complete by next week.

But developer defect rectify...huh....Guess what? Nothing has performed. complain again to maintenance office. Called Alex...ding dong ding dong again...IOI gave me Alex number and ask me to call on Monday to check. Cannot control my frustration and ask them 1 question: What is the the point of having IOI developer if i call and ask them to fix my house defect which has dragged to almost two month. By right, IOI should manage their contractor and not me. Took the number and will call Alex directly on Monday. In the mean time, try fill up complain form at website:- http://www.myioi.com/DefectnComplaintForm.aspx. Not sure got anyone response

If still not resolve, going to complain directly to IOI HQ.

My current rating (out of 10)
1.Developer Contractor - 1 (Time to rectify my defect & seriousness of doing the work. Quality of work is poor)
2.Renovation Contractor -8 (cannot give full mark yet till they complete). Stay tuned to post my complete renovation.

reported your defect? So how long they they take to resolve your case. Sure need to hack wall for this case.

So they did resolve it? How long they took? Nowadays raining reason, if dont rectify it asap then going to have a swimming pool soon.

hmmm...not yet got time to call him. Will try tomorrow. Hopefully he is good response than IOI itself.
