Need some advice and guidance on Renovation. We already get the key on 05/10/2015, currently waiting from developer to rectify the defect.

usually the complain work will take around 1 month++. You can renovate your house now , as long as your renovation never involve the place where your defect is.example your renovation at car porch but defect at kitchen..but if you are not rushing, then wait the defect thingi settle first...

Anyone know about the procedure of application for approval from Majlis Perbandaran Klang (MPK ) to extend for the kitchen ? i saw few houses already start renovation, plan to hack the kitchen's wall, and to extend the wall to top ( Yard area). Anyone can advice ? I ask some contractor, They told me no need to get approval from MPK, but when i check with Developer, they said must get MPK's approval.

i used top fellowship renovation (main contractor last time, now not sure). Not bad the renovation. just a bit pricey but worksmanship satisfied. Last time i renovated
- kitchen cabinet (turn to dry kitchen)
- yard (turn to wet kitchen)
- sealed yard and protect with grill and awning
- grilled whole house
- installation lighting and fan.

They really can delivery within a month.

well, up to individual. but if major renovation better get mpk. Get the book (RM10+) if i'm not mistaken.
You need to tell them, what type of renovation. Then they advise which page to fill up

If minor (no hacking), no need.

eventually we have 2 group buy in the whatapps group.

Need some sharing from previous Phase owners, did the developer fixed back those uneven floor tiles, gaps or holes between tiles?
i spotted a lot of these defect.

Yes. Just report in the defect list

Thanks, sure will list out in the defect lists, still need to check kitchen room1, 2 and backyard floor & wall tiles.
