something weird, i didn't root my phone, but still manage to flash to rev2 wif superuser installed.

can someone tell me the different before & after root? cuz i cant differentiate it....

Simple,if rooted u have a superuser icon in the menu
the phone is smoother after root

root only for the user who prefer the stock rom and want to have full control over the phone..

if want to flash to other rom, no need to root because u using the download method which will void the warranty and install new rom in phone.

** actually, people root the stock rom to allow the user backup the stock rom 1st before flashing other rom. for safety reason.. smile.gif

root = hacked (unlimited control)
not root = not hacked

This are the steps i have been following:-

1.Unzip the files and you will have a) NaviSEA folder and b)PAPAGO_X5SEA_0806_WWEMarket.apk
2. Download libpapago – http://www.multiupload.com/R5QD3HG6V1
3. Unzip libpapago and copy libpapago.so, paste it inside NaviSEA folder.
4. Copy NaviSEA folder, paste it inside your storage card, root directory.
5. Install PAPAGO_X5SEA_0806_WWEMarket.apk via computer or apk installer.
6. Enjoy Papago X5 for Android 2.1, the world 1st release!

Please advice..

I notice you are installing a crack version
anyway you have to copy map data to sdcard/navisea/maps/malaysiaa folder
download free maps from malfree.com.

Run the exe file and copy all the extracted files into the folder i list above

i'm back. finally i'm able to get a new one as my LED flash light not functioning.btw, how to change input method,in detail please, i tried but cant find any option there.and the system tab in the notification bar, it was there when we newly purchase the phone, but after flash, no more, what is the application?
going to upgrade pk rev2d later.

i took to the counter and tell the seller my LED flash not function, the seller tried and then he change new one for me with 4gb sd card, previously gave me 2gb only >.<

since like flash or no flash rom,we still able to claim warranty. thumbup.gif for csl

I do not know about CSL yet, my previous HTC and Samsung phones while still rooted and on cook rom, I still can claim warranty FREE - twice was replace motherboard. AP Set I bought at LowYat I claim at Samsung Singapore Service Center. Similarly my Dopod I bought in KL I got motherboard replace FOC at Spore HTC Service centre. I always think all these worries about warranty is only a small issue. If you want to root and flash roms, just be prepared to paid for any repair costs. If you worry too much about this, don't root and dont flash - use back stock rom. I usually go to Spore as it is nearer than KL. But this CSL if have issue has to go back to CSL shop as Spore doesn't sell this model

BTW the CSL shop that sells me the phone ask me to help him to flash his phone too and other customers of his ; so the seller himself is voiding warranty

me! is that in the clockwork recover one? i mean u back it up with ROM manager rite? i dunno where to paste that back up even though i have any.

Added on March 29, 2011, 1:17 pmdo u know 91panda pc suite?? this pc suite damn exciting! dowloaded reckless racing and tones of apps from there. try splinter cell HD and spiderman HD, both are totally awesome! biggrin.gif
