I am using DNA 16GB class 10 on my mi300 - performs well and is cheap - I paid only RM 85 for it . If you can afford it, get the Kingmax or Kingston which quality is supposedly better but more expensive

You use SUT in download mode not recovery mode

When incomplete n goes to recovery just continue select next

It is much better than the more expensive ones , example galaxy S and latest htc Incredible s back covers - these 2 models are really thin and fragile

I will advise you not to consider this tablet , cos it is very laggy. A 600 MHz chip powering it . I tested it about half hour when it was last launched at LowYat. For its price, it is better to get the 7" Galaxy Tab ( AP sets now only RM 1700+ while original is RM2.1k). It is still on Eclair 2.1 , not too sure about any Froyo roms for it. BTW because of its lower chip, you cannot run flash fully on it

Added on March 25, 2011, 3:09 pmTo get back your unit into non- airplane mode is to flash back the stock rom, either through recovery ( if you have make a backup ) or flashing thro SUT the Spice stock rom
After flash, just ensure at settings/wireless & network/mobile network - the selection for Enable always on mobile data is tick

After you install rom manager, did you select flash clockwork recovery ? If you are unable to flash this recovery from rom manager, then you need to do it manually

1. Download recovery image here : http://uploading.com/files/8a5mbd38/recove....5.1.3-z71.img/

2. Copy this image file to : root of sdcard\clockworkmod\download\koush.tandtgaming.com\recoveries

Create these folders if its not on the sd card

3. Launch rommanager and tap on flash 'clockworkmod recovery'.

I have tested several of such cheap ones prices ranging RM 500 to RM800 - I can guarantee you that after a few hours you just want to throw it away. These cheap tabs more for light office, email, browsing and definitely not for serious gamers. I still say the Galaxy Tab is the best - if you are on a tight budget there are used units at around RM 1500 at garage sales. I am not sure whether it can run psx4droid games as I am not a gamer guy

Games apps does not necessary work in all android phones. Example gameloft games usually meant for higher end phones. I am not a gming guy but i do did some testings of popular games apps on the csl mi300 and Dell Streak and TAB - i do notice some games cannot be play on TAB cos its bigger screen. Games that could play on the Dell Streak cannot play on i300 cos its lower chip speed ( mainly gameloft HD)

The galaxy tab can make calls, recieve calls, does SMS, MMS and video calls

Added on March 25, 2011, 6:14 pmBest method is just use copy and paste transfer through computer. However if your old card has a hidden ext3 partition, you will not be able to transfer over the files in the EXT3 partition

I have said before , just continue with selecting NEXT and let it complete. If still fail, just try again. Some guys has reported doing it few times to have a successful full flash. I so far only 2 times got it done
And if you stop at this stage, most probably your phone call settings greyout and unable to revive it from airplane mode

Same link I download and I found it OK ; successfully extracted into 5 img files and one nandroid.md5 files. Probably your download is corrupted

No - it will infact help you to overcome most force closure issues. These dalvik cache are rebuilt when you launch the app again. There is no harm clearing it. And is always a good practice to clear this and cache partitions everytime before flashing a new rom

I rooted mine after 5 mins, flash first rom superbler after 4 hours having it. The froyo rom is so much better than stock 2.1

I don't think the mi300 with its 600 MHz can use this app well efficiently due to its low memory and lower spec processor. I tested it on the 1Ghz Dell Streak and Galaxy Tab and it consumes a lot of memory. Though is still in beta stage, it is still laggy and the developer has already advised not to test on low end Androids. I am official beta tester being their customer since the Windows Mobile days

Added on March 27, 2011, 11:41 amNo point trying ; it will not load or it will load with errors and your screen stuck ; have to take out battery to reset. If it can be run, it will be very slow loading the panels. I tested on several roms - give up. Just a short point to satisfy yourself but long term unuseable practically. Maybe the final version will work better

Anyone interested to takeup my unit which is 2 weeks old only plus 2 additional batteries ( Sunglobal 1800mAH and a generic ) and a 8gb Sandisk card . Mapking Licence included unused - PM me. The 3.2" screen really too small - I bought a htc Incredible S few days ago to replace it

Actually battery is cheap ; why buy used - you save most RM 10 ?? Sunglobal 1800 mAH only RM 45 and a generic better value, eg mine Fiorano RM 35 while a cheap generic RM 10 to 20 ??
