YES it will work but remember these will incur data charges when you use it

Since you guys are using a Android phone, discontinue past practices keeping contacts on sim card ( this is so old tech ). Have all your contacts, calendar on your Gmail account. Syncing is a breeze. When you change phone, just sync it back - take few minutes only

Your PIM data on Gmail account can be easily sync back to your PC or Mac - so many solutions/methods available

As extra measure, backup your contacts/calendar/sms using MyBackupPro - you can just easily restore these to any Android phone - straightforward and easy

This is another tip as I have been reading that some of you after flash a new rom, phone gets stuck or just unable to bootup ? I also face these issues some times and these always work

Take out battery. Wait 10 secs - put it back on
Go to recovery mode
Wipe clean cache partition, dalvik cache
Reboot phone - it should be OK

I can format the sdhc now, but still cannot do partition with rom manager. Tried the minitool partition wizard too, the option to create partition is not available, does that mean partition is not supported on that card?

Please help...

Looks like your card is defective - cards so cheap these days, get another one try again. There is no such thing as partition not supported - any card can always be partitioned

there is still problem with gps locking..
can send for warranty.?

or any other way to fix it?
*
You can use these apps to improve the GPS lockup. No harm trying it as they are all free apps

My last experience with the GPS on the mi300 is very good : GPS lockup in 1 to max 2 secs on Sygic Aura and about 3-5 secs on Papago X5

Normally if hardware issue means have to cahnge motherboard ; sent in to claim for new set if you are unhappy

do u guys usually recharge the battery to 100% before flash custom roms?
*
To be safe, at least 70 % charged. Actually even at 20 % you can also flash it but if your phone unexpectedly freeze and reboot constantly be prepared for a bricked phone. I have flash even with 20 % ( I did that on my Dell Streak and Galaxy Tab ) but I was confident and I know exactly what I was doing and what I expect to see as these were all just updating of newer versions - so no issues. But why would one wish to do this - prevention is still better than cure - have a good charge before flashing.

This answer is not directed at you but posted as a general comment

This is my opinion after using several Androids. First of all , do not install apps from dubious sources - don't be happy just because you can get free apps, I do not wish to mention here but the link provided at bostonmania site for the free apps is not helping you guys; it is only creating more issues to an other wise good phone.
Android apps are opensourced - cracked/pirated apps are therefore more susceptible to threats, creating system instability ( force closures often recurring and some reported ext SD card kena wipe out ). There are 2 types of cracked/pirated apps - those that are genuine and are shared out cos there is no control on it with any identifying serial number or tied to owner ID - these are generally safe unless a hacker wants to play with it to make it unsafe. The other types are the cracked ones where the hacker has make changes to it disabling the requirement for ID with user - depending on what level the hacker has done, it can create instability to your phone system. Unless you are technically knowledgeable and know which is which - you are just taking a risk. So if your phone freezes often, force closure several times etc just blame yourself and not the phone

You might disagree with me but just test it yourself. Do a factory reset or remove that app ( including deleting the data associated in settings./applications/manage applications ) - monitor whether there is any improvement. Apps that commonly gives problems are games, navigation and system utilities/system widgets

The google market issue - go to settings/applications/manage applications - look for Market - clear data . Rest phone - try again. If still persists, use Titanium Backup and delete the Market app. Reinstall the app . If still have issue, factory reset

good, thanks!

will there be anyone able to explain why the phone suddenly stuck at boot screen? And it would revert back to normal after doing master reset?

So that I can prevent this in future.

Did you clear your caches before flashing a new rom ?

u mean i hav to restore to stock rom using SUT? then flash to ph4 with SUT. im previously on ph3b. and i restore to stock by using rom manager's backup.

so the step should be ph3b > stock rom > ph4a? all done by SUT?
*
You need not use SUT to flash stock again if you have a nandroid backup ; than just use recovery mode to restore. I have no problems doing it. But it is recommended not compulsory to use SUT - up to you to choose
