Can anyone recommend me a laptop max RM2.5K?

Thanks.

I'm considering Acer 4750G-2414G50, i5 2410M + nVidia GT520M@RM2249 or Dell Inspiron 14, i5 2410M + AMD HD6630M@RM2349

Any other laptop(s) that is/are better than these?

If want better customer service/speaker/screen, go with Dell, else Asus.

Read from the Dell XPS 14 & 15 thread here, seems like XPS15 still has a lot of problems... Asus is the answer I guess then. cheers.

Acer vs Asus.

What are the pros and cons between them, generally?

personally i think acer has better price to performance, meaning higher specs for cheaper price. Whereas asus has default longer warranty and better build quality. But really, its not the brand that matters much.

Read Asus's thread, or Trance4eva's review on the N53SN, you'll find that there are problems as well... its virtually unavoidable haha laugh.gif

Hi guys.
I'm planning to buy a big screen laptop for work and gaming purpose tongue.gif

I found Dell vostro 3750 and Asus N73, which come with 17.4'' screen....
My budget is around rm3000.

Other these two models, is there any laptop with 17'' screen and price range around rm3000?

Thanks... ^^

Below RM3k for a 17 incher hemmm.

maybe you want to consider lower CPU like i5 rather than i7.

But you can get the Asus N73SV from excaliberpc.com at USD1179.00 + another USD150 for express postage, but will exceed your RM3k budget.

The MSI FX720 with i5SB CPU and GT540M GPU to be available. Expected price less than UD800.00 ex-USA

I was looking at the new SB DELL XPS15 (and no bluray???) with 2G GPU, but it is just too pricey compared to ASUS and MSI. But Dell is very cool on support wise, have no idea how MSI and Asus will be, especially when purchased out of Malaysia.

Not aware of such model in Malaysia... usually different countries will have laptops with different specs nod.gif
If its really RM2250 with those specs, its a steal haha... but do take note that you may experience problems with claiming your warranty over here....
The 14 inchers (of Malaysia) which are the nearest in terms of performance would be the Acer TimelineX 4830Tg and Asus A43Sv, both with (i5-2410M + Nvidia GT540M).
