On the dell website,
Smarter graphics: Boost your graphics performance and optimize your battery life with Switchable Graphics Technology. When requiring less power, your laptop automatically switches to the smart Intel integrated HD graphics-helping deliver more performance on a single battery charge.

Can consider Acer 3820TG or Vostro 3350...
The Sony Vaio is Vaio YB15 ?

acer 3820tg.. the best choice out there if u ask me. heat issues are common in smaller notebooks.. too crammed innards.

Wow 3 suggestions for acer 3820TG. Thanks biggrin.gif My current heat issue with my acer laptop is just the placement for the heat vent or something (the place where the heat comes out). It's at the bottom corner next to the port, so it melted the surface. I now have one big 'hole' there and half melted port. Just bad design for the heat.

Yup the Vaio one is YB15, and also from the E series, EA45.

YB15 performance is no where near 3820TG =P..

3820TG has 2fans, one of the best cooling systems for 13inch out there I would say..

Haha Vaio are cute looking, but quite expensive for their specs to me XD So now I gotta look out for 3820TG. I'm also interested in something touchscreen... any touchscreen laptop that's below RM2.5k? lol

If macbook wasn't so expensive, it'll be an easy choice for me.
