the only 13" SB laptops in the market now...

Samsung 9 Series, i5-2547M + Intel HD3000 + 128GB SSD@RM4999 [1.3kg]
Sony Vaio SB16, i5-2410M + AMD HD6470@RM3299 [1.7kg], W7P, Colors: Black/Pink/Silver/White
Sony Vaio SB18, i7-2620M + AMD HD6470@RM3999 [1.7kg], W7P, Colors: Silver/Black

if not, there's quite a lot of choices...

Dell Inspiron 13R, i3-380M + ATI HD5470 [1.9kg]@RM1999
Dell M301z, AMD Athlon II K645 + ATI HD4225@RM1999 [1.8kg], external OD

Update:
These are new Vostro units, 13 inch with SB:
Dell (Specs customizable)
Vostro 3350, i3-2310M + Intel HD3000@RM2209
Vostro 3350, i5-2410M + Intel HD3000@RM2469

Not sure whether they can hit the 5 hours mark or not though since they come with 4-cell battery only

That is true, but I think in these 1 year time, more and more USB 3 storage items will come out sad.gif ExtHD, Flashdrive etc. Missing out just one USB3 port is going to be a disaster..

well, seriously do we really need USB3.0?

granted our iPod and handphones maybe can charge faster... but thumb drives and HDD??? how often u see a normal thumbdrive shooting past 10MB/s write speed? how often u see HDDs going past 20MB/s write? USB2.0 can provide max 480Mbps = 60MB/s of bandwidth... we re not even using half of it (which is the commonly agreed max bandwidth in real use scenario)...

Agreed!
If you copy rar a single rar file which is large then yes it can reach about 15Mbps (I tried it once) but those large single rar files are usually brows.gif you-know-what
Others somehow when you copy a like of items like your whole song library for backup is mostly about 4Mbps?
