He probably know better than us  nod.gif Still, not released doesn't mean no more stock hehe
Well, the thing is there's not much, if any performance differences between the 1GB and 2GB GT540M GPU  nod.gif
So its down to the difference in battery capacity now

Added on May 6, 2011, 4:38 pm

Nvidia GT540M is way better than AMD HD 6470  nod.gif

I dunno what Asus Malaysia is doing  vmad.gif
I've waited until gave up already haha  cry.gif
Yeap, apparently the JBL speakers in Dell are much better than that of Asus...
Personally I think the harman/kardons in Toshibas are also better than the B&Os  hmm.gif
Have you tried out harman/kardons bro?  rclxms.gif

Huh?The only different between 1GB and 2GB is the battery capacity?

Hihi fellow Penangite  rclxms.gif
For RM3k,
Best would be the 14" HP DV4
HP Pavilion Dv4, i5-2410M + AMD HD6750@RM2899
HP Pavilion Dv4, i7-2620M + AMD HD6750@RM3599 (someone selling around RM2.7k in Garage Sales)

As for 15", you might wanna top up to RM3.2k for the better N53Sn and HP DV6  nod.gif
Asus N53Sn, i7-2630QM + Nvidia GT550M@RM3299 [Bang & Olufsen]
HP DV6-6001TX, i7-2630QM + AMD HD6770@RM3699 [Beats], Beats headphones; RM3199 without Beats headphones
*
i was planning to buy the hp dv6 one... jz scare abt the heat problem.... hmm.gif the speaker of hp dv 6 is like normal laptop one? if i wan to buy it then i wont buy it with the beats headphone... this is my 1st laptop i ever buy... so i must review carefully tongue.gif

In fact AMD HD6750M is a bit better, check it here http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Graphi...List.844.0.html
HD6750M got higher score in vantage for GPU score. smile.gif

I thought about waiting for N43 SB models but till there's now still no sight at all
It's disappointing
I did try out the Toshiba's harman/kardon on older Satellite laptops
I still think the Dell JBL is better
ASUS handled the B&O quite poorly.

Hi, i wan to ask, is it acer has stop users to upgrade the ram themself? Because there are stickers on each of the screw mount on my friend's new acer 4750-i3-2310. Stated warranty void if seal is broken. Is it another way to add the ram without voiding the warranty? 2GB ram is totally, cannot.

Dissapointing. The only thing bad about the N53SN@RM3.3k is the HD Ready only screen sweat.gif

Else, the design is superb. Nice specs, lovely i7-2630m +GT550m+ USB 3.0

If merely for study purposes, it would be overkill I would say laugh.gif
Might wanna consider these instead:
Acer Aspire 4750, i5-2410M + Intel HD3000@RM1999
Acer Aspire 4750G, i5-2410M + Nvidia GT 520@RM2249, 3 years local limited warranty
Asus A43Sj, i3-2310M + Nvidia GT520M@RM1999 (2 years international warranty)
Dell Inspiron 14R, i3-2310M + Intel HD 3000@RM1949
Dell Inspiron 14R, i5-2410M + Intel HD3000@RM2299
HP Pavilion G4, i3-2310M + AMD HD6470@RM1999
Lenovo G470, i5-2410M + Intel HD3000@RM1999
Toshiba Satellite L745-1049U, i3-2310M + Intel HD3000@RM2099, 2 years warranty (1st year global)

You can use the remaining money to extend the warranty to 3 years nod.gif
