Usage? Any gaming? Preferred screen size?

Assuming you would want a 14", these 2 are the best that fits your description
HP Pavilion Dv4, i7-2620M + AMD HD6750@RM3599 (dual core i7, can get for around RM2,7k in Garage Sales)
Asus A43Sv, i7-2630QM + Nvidia GT540M@RM2899
Lenovo V470, i7-2630QM + Intel HD3000@RM2699

So, if you're into gaming, its best that you try to top up to get the better HP Dv6 and Asus N53Sn at RM3.2k, the performance difference is very well worth the additional top up (if you're gaming)...
Specs as follow:

If strictly under RM3k (15"):

I also not sure that is A43 or A53 sweat.gif Since you say there's no 15" i7 for A-series, then it should be A43 laugh.gif March>April>May...want ask where's the i5-2520M? tongue.gif

^ I've no idea what you're talking about lol laugh.gif
Anyway, the processors usually comes in batches, for instance... for them Arrandale i3 processors...It was i3-330M> i5-350M > i5-370M then only i3-380M...
They don't usually release the most powerful one in the beginning based on what I've seen nod.gif

Good day to all of you gurus, need your expertise:

1. Brand - Any brand
2. Budget - RM 3000 max
3. Specs - i3, i5 processor
4. Size - 12, 13 inches; lighter the better. Ha.
5. Graphics: No gaming required. Simple graphics only.
6. Battery: More than 8 hours
7. Screen: Must be matte; work under lighting a lot.
8. Optical drive: Required.
9. Warranty: 2 years or more.

At this moment I have only 1 in mind: Dell Vostro 3350. Please let me know if you have other choice.

Thanks!
