If comparing this 2.. It is more worth it to get the i7 with additional 600 bucks ??

Well, if the shop ppl are kind enough (which they probably won't be during PC fair because of the hecticness haha, try LYP instead laugh.gif ), you can always ask them to allow you to install Hwmonitor into the display laptops and then you can see the temperatures prior to purchasing laugh.gif

If you don't need the i7 (multitasking, resource consuming programs, serious Photoshop-ing etc.), chances are that you won't need it, i5 is good enough nod.gif

Yup, the screen quality depends on the LCD itself, since the bottleneck here is the screen capability to output the product here..

I am looking for a laptop for study purposes(doing presentations,assignments,web browsing and maybe watch some movies drg free time).
I want a durable and if possible long battery life.(cant afford to have my lappy in workshop always)
which brand do I go for?
what specs should I look out for?
should I go for i3 or i5?
budget ard 2.3-2.5K.

Ya,tat's wat i'm thinking of too.. But with the addition of 600 the processor and GPU r upgraded.. n i rmb oni i7 support USB 3.0 rite ? but 1 thing i dun really like is the keyboard @.@ stil prefer the normal laptop keyboard which dun have so many keys @.@ Tat's y i oso considering the A series... Other than Asus any similar spec's reliable brand recommended ?

Its not like only i7 support USB 3.0, but rather that they only give USB 3.0 to the higher spec model...

Hi guys, can recommend me for laptop in range of 2k? girl use. (my sis and her friend). primary on web surfing and multimedia. no gaming required. prefer little stylish.

hey guys where can i get an MSIGE620 with full HD screen here?
and one more thing, know any more laptop here that has higher than 1366x768 screen? i need to buy one asap but so far my search has only yielded that lousy standard resolution

Laptop size? hmm.gif
14 inchers with Full HD is rare.. I think you should be able to find MSI GE620 during PC fair, but I don't think it has FullHD hmm.gif

website states standard or full, i was wondering about that. size maybe 14-16 is good enough..saw a lenovo 1600x900 in yet another website (theirs) but i don't think they have them here..just anything higher res than the standard then i can make my decision. thanks again
