I think Dell will only confirm the purchase during weekdays, at least this was being told by the agent to me.
I bought mine on Monday nevertheless the agent gave me a RM 100 rebate.
Happily typing on my new laptop, just arrived today.

emailed my application i think on 11.5 if not 12.5, got it recorded in the system on 12.5, chased everyday for approval and finally rec a sms ard 6 saying it has been approved. 4-5 days, i would say quite fast.

how long wil it take to reach the selected branch?

I got the same thing earlier, later charged RM50 GST in Visa. That transaction is just to show u need to pay only 1 GST for 2 cards.

Added on May 17, 2011, 10:43 amjz checked today at m2u, the card details have been listed there. got Visa plat, although initially, was offered Master and asked to convert, which they did. quite disappointingly, the CL was as low as other cards, unlike my DA, which has a slightly higher CL. Sigh

I found this in myeg website for auto insurance renewal by etiqa.

B) Types of Online Payment System offered are:
1) Credit Card (VISA or MASTERCARD)
2) FPX Internet Banking
3) Maybank2u.com

Also, stated there that only cards issued by LOCAL Banks can be used. Which means, I can't use my OCBC Titanium either.

ocbc is local bank = banks in malaysia
amex is not accepted thru myeg

I have a company laptop too.

I normally pay my insurance through my dealer. For example, you can buy Sumitomo Insurance through Toyota (dealer) and pay with your AMEX. I did do have another car insurance with Berjaya Sompo which can be paid through AMEX too.

I don't use MYEG for some reasons.

No, major difference. In fact MasterCard has more promotions compared to VISA.
I got a VISA for Maybankard2Gold Card because I already have MasterCard from my CIMB Direct Access, if not I'll still stick to AMEX+MasterCard.
