promo for visa and mc will be there, but cant beat other bank's benefits smile.gif

You're right on this. M2Cards VISA/MASTER benefits cannot be other banks at all... That's why the penetration for this card for those who are using VISA/MASTER is not there.

Just applied for the card this morning at one of the Maybank Ipoh branch.
Hopefully can receive the approval ASAP.

Too bad Starbucks promotion only at selected outlets in KL/Selangor.

Btw, what else promotion do MBB 2 AMEX have besides Starbucks? tongue.gif
*
Ah, I saw an Ipoh-kia here. You can navigate to M2U website > Cards > AMEX Promotion to see all the promotions AMEX is offering. I noticed this promotion is not discussed here.

I had this problem at Jusco Supermarket Taman Equine too. I noticed this problem will kick in whenever there is an 'overwhelm' in transaction e.g. when there is a JCard day or some kinda of celebration ahead...

Finally got my VISA card and called to cancel my MasterCard. biggrin.gif
The person told me it needs 10 working days to get it cancelled and I'll need to destroy it from my end.

Finally my hoo-haa with Maybank has ended...

I guess it's either the Tesco Ampang internal network got problem or their CIMB terminal got problem.

Yes. Goverment premises.

The water bill is under DBKL not Syabas.

+1
That's what I did with my cards. I like my due date on 15th or 16th only that's why I requested to change the billing statement so the due date will be my preferred date. Doing so will make all my cards' billing date or due date fall on the same date and then I'll start paying the same time. I don't have to remember that card A & B first week, card D & E end of the month, card F & G middle of the month.

Hey guys, I applied for MB2 Platinum recently. The person who signed me up said no need payslips, just photocopy of existing CC. After 2 weeks CS called me and asked me to fax my payslips. She said this is due to BNM new regulation. Is this normal procedure? Because everytime I apply for new CC no need payslip, except the first one.
*
Well I got the pre-approved invitation, submitted my application and got approved, no need payslip.

My spending in SG last month for M2Amex:
S$42.52 => RM105.68 (Rate @ 2.485)
5% rebate I get back around RM5.28...

Assume exchange rate @ 2.41, it would be RM102.47. Then bank charge is around RM3.21.

I still "earn" a bit from the rebate... tongue.gif

I made a paypal online purchase today using my mbb2Amex linked paypal account.
The 5% weekend rebate is base on transaction date or posted date?

It's based on transaction date.
