this is becoz he is using maybank CC before..tat's y they can give fast approval..if new apply i think need 1 week also..

Hi guys quick question on the card.

I am having two cards; HSBC and Citibank just in case if once in a blue moon the card could not be processed I can use my Citibank since its different merchant.

I was planning to move to this maybank CC which gives two cards; amex and visa/master. So I was wondering since its from the same merchant, if lets say amex fails on me, does visa/master fails on me too since both its from the same merchant?

I'm just looking for two cards, limiting myself instead of having many.

I cannot terminate my petronas visa on the dot due to some of bills are autopay using this card. + the validity will expired next year

why card cant be processed? if the merchant terminal cant read any card, then its the terminal/line problem.

1. if i use maybank2kard amex on an online transaction on a weekend, will i be entitle to 5% rebate and 5x treatpoints ?

2. i have read the TnC about foreign currency conversion charges for Maybank2card's Amex (2.5%). But i remember read it somewhere that it is (2.5% + 0.5%). wondering where does the 0.5% came from ?

3. i understand that using Maybank2card's Visa have the lowest foreign currency conversion rate. But will the Maybank2card Amex with 5% and 5x Treatpoints more worthwhile than Maybank2card's Visa since it have a higher conversion rate?

I left my MBB2 AMEX at Tesco cashier yesterday and I didn't notice it until today. Later after I realized it, I went to the customer service counter and retrieve the card. Luckily no unusual swipes made between the time and cross my fingers hard on this card.

if u have called and nothing, shouldn't have already, for safety, just blocked this card and ask for card replacement just in case anyone photostat and use the card to make purchase online

I've experienced this many times, so, its a valid reason to have few cards from different banks. No reason why the card can't be processed, sometime happened at petrol stations too.

BTW, am interested to replace my normal maybank gold card with this one, but I've 0% installment, will I be able to transfer those installments to this Dua?

I think should be safe since I have covered the 4 digits at the front and the 3 digits at the back. Have to monitor for few more days.

why need to cover it? since still need it to buy online stuff

Guys you think tomorrow I head to 1U Maybank to register for the card I should be able to get a faster response?

Reason being I don't want to register via web or thru those road show is because it is slow imo. Was planning to go for direct and apply.
