credit card is like that....

u apply bank A, it give u 6k CL

then after 1 year u take bank A cc to apply bank B cc (which we called as prompt apply) , then bank B will of course give u higher limit in order for u to maintain their bank instead of bank A. eg 10k CL

so continue after few years....eventually ur CL will higher n higher....

nowadays if u got CL 8500 , u can apply citibank platinum cash back and even standard chartered platinum

the requirement for platinum already lower....compare to few years back....

last time my ex basic only 2k, but she work for cimb ( she got 15k CL )

then apply other bank platinum edi....

Just to clarify I didn't get my wish of 10000 TreatsPoints for GST waiver... but I did received 5000 TreatsPoints only (which could be a boo-boo)

they gave u 5k TP is very good already

They offer me, and i ask them to call back for the past 2 weeks. they didn't call back =.= zzz

i got platinum via invitation (the 2 card)..and yes, i've been a good maybank cc user since 05 i think with classic, and upgraded to gold in 08. salary also into maybank

Lost or stolen card is consider user's fault and liable for RM50.
damaged or no 'Platinum' wording is Maybank's fault, thus no need to pay.

card get stolen still bank fault, social problems

I think you met the not-so-nice CS. The first lady CS i talked to about getting a replacement card wasn't very helpful either. And 7 working days ?? I stay in Sabah and i got the replacement card on the second working day

Payment by AMEX (even with Maybank logo) can't be done in installment anyway, if i'm not mistaken.


Oh yeah, i just forgot that i have not received my February statement. This is because Maybank screwed up and sent my first statement to my old house which we have sold a few years back. I don't even know how could this happen because the billing address recorded in their system is the latest one (they always ask me this every time i call them)

I have requested for the February statement to be emailed to me for 4 times already from 4 different CS since mid-March, none of which i have received. I'm going to demand them to give me a printed copy now from their branch here in KK. It's public holiday here in Sabah today (Good Friday). So i guess i can only do it next week. See how it goes. I'm not going to pay the statement request fee for sure.

omg i didnt know credit card 0% installment is not entitle to get treatpoints

1. Which card can be used under 0%* installment payment plan?
- Maybank - Visa / Master Credit Card (not available on Maybank Amex Card)
- Citibank - Visa / Master Credit Card

i dun mind paying the gst if they giving 5000 TP

i feel it's for selected few...
