I don't use swap partition because formerly when I used it, I have some problems with wifi, and mad2sd. And now without swap, everything works wonderful with CM7.1 v0.9 + hotfix3. This CM7.1 v.0.8 - 0.9 is extremely smooth without lags! The only thing not working at the moment is radio (without sound). If you don't mind about the radio, this is a great rom for everyday regular use. This post has been edited by alexysc: Jul 19 2011, 11:18 PM |

Yup, you can provided after flashing to CWM, you do back-up with CWM before you install CyanogenMod. |

QUOTE(DeadGod @ Jul 20 2011, 11:54 AM) Bro, 1) how to restore back to sumsung one after flashed to CWM? 2) what to do if we dun want overclock in CyanogenMod? Thanks in advance 1) Boot to CWM mode and restore from there. Everything will be restored exactly as before.2) In CM, there are parameters settings. You are free to set to any clockspeed settings... if you don't want overclock, just set to your max CPU to 604MHz or even lower ...or if you want to higher ...it's up to your preference. |

The partition ext4 is where most apps and games will be stored. Therefore, if you want to have a lot of apps and games, you can partition it to a bigger size e.g 1.5GB. Then you'll have roughly 6.3GB space in your Fat32 for your personal stuffs, like music files, videos, pictures...etc. This post has been edited by alexysc: Jul 20 2011, 03:06 PM |
