Hm, i noticed apps like dictionary/news weather/navigation/location/google maps/voice search ALL require packet data charges? When i disabled packet data none of this is usable... sad

Voice search requires server processing, no choice. News/weather are always updated, don't think you want outdated news and weather forecasts, right? No data plan means you might miss up some things, not to mention real time syncing of your contacts, notes, calendars, tasks, etc. But not everybody needs it. |

Did a factory reset on Saturday with was a PITA, but it didn't help against auto shutdowns (once in about 8-16hrs). I had some basic apps like papago, dictionary and Bibles.
Yesterday I took a call from my mom for 15mins and after she hung up the phone switched off.. Just took my Ace to Samsung service center to reflash backwards to original day 1 FW. Hopefully it behaves as before the firmware update... |

since they say the browser dun support flash, can play facebook games ah? I planning to get it soon prob at senheng or courts at least got installment plan. Thanks. |
