Need For Speed Shift is smooth and don't really drain as bad as i tot...
anyone tried FIFA 2010? it run smoothly but the field is in black... like missing some files.
if u r a fan of football.... try Pro Evolution Soccer 2011? damn smooth and dun drain battery bad.

btw... just got my SGA black on 13th march. sign me on!

one question..do i need to root in order to use app2sd and papago?
kinda forgot about it.

who can play PES 2011? earlier i can play but now seems like the server is down. i heard there's a newer version of it.

just go to settings>sound>volume

dun b afraid to explore the phone...

than i guess maybe the phone vol is not loud enough for u. let me know if u found a way...

known issues for my phone so far:
1) WIFI sometimes gets error message but solve after typing *#*#526#*#* (no biggie for me)

the rest...it's ok...GPS works..so far game don't lag maybe because i keep my phone apps minimal... don't simply install rubbish/one-off apps.

hi guys, compare papago and google map turn by turn navigation with voice, which one is better?

m using google navigation with voice. it's free.
just wanna know how much diff compare to papago.
maybe i should install papago and write a comparison.

For browser,
try using Skyfire browser... it supports certain flash side(sorry no Flash games). i use it to watch live football streaming when astro is down or in office...

i would suggest everyone to get unlimited package for broadband. this phone works better with full internet access.

anyone tried this app before?

M not sure it's gorrilla glass but i can confirm it's scratch proof. How i know? Bcoz i just drop my phone twice on the tar road face down n drag. My phone 4corners all badly dented... Btw,whoever from pg, i drop it at the mahkamah statue. I damn heart pain,phone only 3 weeks old. Casing no time to buy... M here for holidays...

tried to upgrade my firmware but kept getting the download error...emergency recovery also error... in the end i took out the battery...
sigh....try one more time..if tak boleh.... cuba other time...

all phone has their own issues...
u only need to know whether the problem is fixable or not...
so far SGA has minor bug issues...

first of all, make sure u are connected to the internet.
install the latest kies to ur pc (the one give in the cd is one version older...)... connect the usb from phone to pc.... and than it will ask u whether to upgrade or not...

in case u wondering how to get the latest kies software.... just install the cd... midway through the installation, it will ask u to upgrade it...

upgrading ur phone firmware might take a while... sometimes there's an error...


btw, mine upgraded d... checking out the diff...
on paper...everything seems the same...

something might be wrong...
better send to samsung asap...make sure it's unrooted...
u might get a new one...or at least a new board weeks later...

Added on April 7, 2011, 11:00 amout of the 3...i only exp wifi error. battery life i guess is built that way...it can last for 1 1/2 days...
after upgraded to the latest firmware since tues... there's no wifi error.

i drop my phone at 1.5m height and it cont drag on the road with the screen facing the tar road...
only the 4 curve side of phone body is badly dented... screen is scratch free...

SGA do not support flash games such as facebook games.
Skyfire only supports flash base videos.
SGA do not support 3D/HD games. those kind of games need higher tech, hence you need a better/more expensive phones.

for those who have issues with WIFI, try hard reset and use the phone as it is, so that you know the problem is from the phone or your apps.

if the issues still persist, pls send it to samsung asap. you might be able to claim a new phone. Upgrading to the latest firmware might not fixed these issues. some ppl said it's fixed some ppl said no. As for my situation, it is fixed.

auto shutdown also seems like manufacturer fault. so quickly go and send it to samsung. i've checked so far, there's no guaranteed solution.

also, i realised that whenever you use an app and close it. it seems like it's not entirely close. if you check using ATK, the apps seems to be running. maybe that's the reason battery is running fast.

Added on April 11, 2011, 6:29 pmalso, browsing internet with SGA will take up a some internal memory. Try go to Setting>Aplications>Manage Applications>All>look for your internet icon. Click the Clear cache button.

internet browsing or some other apps might have stored some data(cache) in your phone. just like your PC. you need to clear it sometimes. heavy internet browsing might store up to min 6-10mb of data.

so check each of ur apps, see whether they take up any cache from your internal memory.

warning: DO NOT CLEAR DATA. data is your username and passwords. for example, if you clear FACEBOOK data, you are actually clearing your user name and password. so next time u log in, u need to sign in again.
