let's look forward to the FA Cup match against united this saturday. it's gonna be a good time for arsenal (and wenger) to show that we've still got what it takes to beat big teams and it'd be the perfect way to rebound from the CL loss.

Btw, on the Barca's game, Ref's decision is a hasty one. I'm not going to blame him, in that situation, it will be 50-50 for any ref to give a card for that act. RVP was not lucky. Ref killed the game ? I doubt so, Barcelona fully deserved to go through. They were one hell of a team, definitely better than Arsenal by a mile. Nevertheless, all the best of retaining the CL title, as i've yet to see a team as good as Barcelona's current form.

United, ain't putting much of hope if we stick with the current formation letting our number 7 play. I believe Chamakh should start ahead of NB52. We don't have any consistent crossers in the squad, thus he's a little useless i must say. Chamakh on the other hand is more agile and should provide more. I really do believe that C29 is way better to fit our style of play than NB52.

NB52 provides physical presence, but due to Arsenal style of play, he's often drifting to the right which makes him no longer the target man. Obvious was in the Birmingham game where he was often caught out of position. Shortly, there weren't anyone in the box. In order to keep the player in the club rather than making him unsettle, he needs to play him.

Should find out whether Szczesny needs any surgery today or tomorrow. Prepared for the worse and having Shea on the bench while Almunia plays. Situation's not too bad but if Shea gets thrown into the deep end it will be nailbiting stuff. Don't know how long Mannone will be out for either but if Szczesny is knocked out for the rest of the season we'll have to recall both.

Man Utd should be a cracking match. Hope the squad takes this match to rediscover their rythm, win or lose.

The fixture list looks a bit more favourable without the midweek Champions League stuff now as well.
