QUOTE(krfan @ Oct 6 2012, 02:20 AM) I am in a dilemma now, because, my remaining protein supply can last me another 1 week or so, and i'm desperately searching for a seller for ON 100% whey. I have searched the mostly talked about bodyalignment and muscleup and they're both out of stock! What horror! What should i do?! hahahahahahahaha. whey will be whey. different brands may differ in flavour (taste). but at the end of the day, it is just a supplement Added on October 6, 2012, 3:50 amp/s: I do take supplements. I even went a month without it. so, I saw only subtle difference between supplementing with protein and without supplementation. It is very very psychological. At least to me, it was This post has been edited by ShinKen: Oct 6 2012, 03:50 AM |

He discovered that the label sticker doesn't pasted on the jar completely and perfectly, there are some air behind the stickers caused many floating surface of the label, look like poor and cheap packaging product from third country world. pictures available? Most of the supplements i bought previously seem doesn't have this problem. So i wonder is it possible there are fake supplement on the market now? or is it normal with packaging as mentioned on above? |

QUOTE(noone @ Oct 9 2012, 01:30 PM) my 2 cents worth? this is just a rough guess okay? haha. I am not saying my opinion is a fact and it is the truth.it's old stock. poorly kept. poorly handled. scratches here and (on plastic tub goods) there. -I received my goods from Bodybuilding.com. some of them like kena hentam. probably due to handling. from here to there. here to there. so many hands held it. however, I've never received goods in a state where the sticker looking in such a poor condition though. the sticker? oh well, it's either the heat or liquid that caused it. could have gotten wet sometime somewhere. I don't know. like I said. I've never encountered such problem. but yeah, these kind of things do occur once in a blue moon. even local suppliers like fitnutritions encounter problems like dented tubs (big enough to be visible) here's to give you an idea on what I'm talking about http://www.fitnutritions.com/index.php?mai...a655bed926ceab7 |

QUOTE(LeanSupp @ Oct 10 2012, 07:27 AM) my 2 cents is that most likely poor storage, cuz, i remember when i just started out gym, i bought from GNC too. and also some of the bottles there are like this. While from my experience,i only realize ON product will have this . I did say it. paragraph 1, line 2. I mentioned poorly kept hehehehe.Added on October 10, 2012, 7:45 am QUOTE(noone @ Oct 9 2012, 01:30 PM) pictures as shown below in short bro, NO WORRIES i have seen the sticker it looks like in new and good condition. It seem that somebody rushed to paste the sticker by hand which cause many air bubbles in sticker, just like when people try to paste a large piece of sticker eg laptop screen protector or wallpaper there are always some air bubbles in it if not handled with carefully. it is suspected because usually supplement packaged by machine not hand? or it could be machine faults? QUOTE(noone @ Oct 10 2012, 11:09 PM) The first word appeared in my mind when i heard of "fake supplement" is CHINA I don't know about that. but, Alex Rogers of protein factory said something. So i searched for such keyword in internet and very shocked that bestsellers supplements and whey protein in China also imported brand like ON, BSN, Champion Nutrition and many discussions regard how to identify fake supplements which existed in their market. If you can read chinese, type "Optimum nutrition" "fake" (in chinese word) in china top search engine Baidu.com to see these information. There are pirated version of EVERY bestseller brands of EVERY products in China from Darlie toothpaste to Iphone and we can see many of these pirated products in Malaysia. I hope we don't have to ask more questions like "this seller products are original or not" other than "this seller is reliable?". also found another discussion regards fake supplement here http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1992593/all I think above link should pin on first page of this topic, it seem that not many Malaysian buyers aware with this issue. according to him, best selling brands (no, he did not mention the brand, but we can safely assume) like ON, Dymatize, BSN... all those whey are produced in China they are then brought into America and packaged there in the USA in a GMP Facility. cut it short. most cheap whey isolates that we buy (at the price of below RM 220 from local suppliers) are: whey made in China, product packaged in USA. just to give you a rough idea, it's like an iPhone. "Designed in California, USA. Assembled in China" |

more expensive whey isolates are not produced in China.
they are usually from New Zealand. New Zealand whey isolate come directly from milk. not cheese. New Zealand Whey Isolate are guaranteed hormone-free grass fed whey protein powder. Biological value is higher. amino acid profile is higher. same goes to German Whey yeah, I mentioned New Zealand and Germany. but recently I discovered something from Aussie http://professionalwhey.com.au/ but, you can just get some quality proteins from Protein Factory. they are manufactured in the USA, but they strictly import their Whey. seems legit. http://proteinfactory.com/shop/home.php I think I have indirectly explained on why Horleys are overpriced. it is due to that New Zealand Whey in there at the end of the day, we get exactly for what we paid for. Added on October 10, 2012, 11:34 pm QUOTE(chastise @ Oct 10 2012, 11:28 PM) bro, I just said it is from Alex Rogers of Protein Factory.you can email him. or you can just follow him on YouTube. he gets a tons lot of bashing there lol. but he seem legit. if not, he wouldn't show up at the Arnold Expo p/s: take note that he delete his videos now and then. some of my source been deleted. some are there. just browse around This post has been edited by ShinKen: Oct 10 2012, 11:34 PM |

QUOTE(chastise @ Oct 10 2012, 11:38 PM) That's not source. That's exactly what we call... hearsay. Give me proof that ON, Dymatize and etc. produced in China. That was what you said. I said it? well, I was only restating Alex Roger's statement. he said "leading brands import their whey from China"-how many leading brands are there out there? bro, I said we can safely ASSUME due to the price factor . Alex Rogers challenged his bash-ers to ask leading brands directly on where do they obtain their whey. YES, they are manufactured in a GMP facility in USA, but where do you they obtain their whey from? that was Alex's point. well to be honest, I'm not bothered. I personally use Horleys. I use Dymatize. tried out ON. whey are whey. LOL. so, I didn't bother to take the effort to approach them anymore BECAUSE , I have been emailing Dymatize for a long long time. no reply. decided to just gulp down their protein hahaha. Cafe Mocha taste brilliant. what more could I ask for? YOU are concerned, YOU search on your own quest. if you remember this quote "I'm not a fan of spoonfeeding myself " I'm happy with Horleys and Dymatize. China or New Zealand, my body can't tell a difference |

QUOTE(chastise @ Oct 10 2012, 11:55 PM) So it means... you have no source? You were the one who raised that.. I'm sure you have your source. If not.. it's hearsay. Not even spoonfeeding.. you can't even support what you have wrote. Oh well... Lawyer, I think I'm taking back my statement on ON. because ON stated "Optimum Nutrition is able to control the integrity of all products through in-house manufacturing."Why don't you do us a favour and stop misleading other newcomers here. but then again, it takes no Sherlock Holmes to know that in-house manufacturing is even more costly. like really really costly. if you have a relative running a manufacturing business, feel free to spend some time and ask them about in-house manufacturing. all businessmen don't prefer in-house manufacturing as it is very costly. Apple Inc. too. they are hugeee. do they in-house manufacturing? no. because it is expensive. |

ON is good. taste brilliant. good gains. just, WHY don't they declare where their whey are from? does it harm their company if they state our whey is strictly from America. hormone-free grass fed! haha. seek that answer Added on October 11, 2012, 12:08 amI mean, if Protein Factory have the means to do it, why leading brand don't/ can't? QUOTE(vxvx @ Nov 8 2012, 04:18 PM) Anybody wanna share what they cook/eat for their breakfast.. (recipe that are easy to get in Malaysia pls) ..I'm sick of mine. you must be Vincent from Muscle Mania.well, what I do is blend oats with whey for breakfast. oats: boil 1 cup of water 1/2 cup of rolled oats once done (cooked), throw in 1/2 cup of raw almonds (blended finely) then add in a tiny splash of milk to your oats. add in a table spoon of honey. and a few dabs of cinnamon powder Whey: lastly, throw everything into the blender. + a scoop and half of whey powder (may vary according to individuals). as for me, I love throwing in my Dymatize Elite Whey Isolate Cafe Mocha flavour add in 300 ml of fresh milk (pasteurized) into the blender. I like to use Farm Fresh brand. just a personal preference if I am feeling gay, I'll throw in a large Dole banana in there. those hugeeeee bananas lol. just for a greater consistency adding in the taste. -you will end up with a thick and rich tasting shake. I take it to classes. or if I have time, I drink it with breakfast. it keeps me full. hehe p/s: I discovered this recipe after I found myself not being able to chew down all those oats which are too tasteless for my blood. boring too. |
