I've been buying supplements from GNC for quite some time and it's frustrating to learn that they rip off your money a lot. Even for VIP members the price is slightly above the market rate. Don't get me started on normal retailing price for non members, they are HELLA RIDICULOUSLY CRAZY high, 50% or even 100% higher than market price, giving the impression that bodybuilding and taking care of your health is a luxury.

Now that I've calm down, I wanna ask u guys where do you usually get ur supplements from? Online or from local retailer? I for one have been scouring the internet these past few months for online retailer which is well established, provide good service, and most importantly not trying to rip off consumers.

So here is the list that I've come up with (feel free to recommend any retailers to this list):

Local:
Eji Nutrition
Bina Badan
Ego Nutrition
Fit Nutrition
MuscleUp
NutritionPro
Bodybuilding Asian
Muscle Mania Club
Supplement Malaysia
Supplement2day
Kedai Otot / Supplement Zero
WhyPayMoreNutritions
Bear Nutrition
Fit Lion
Supplement88
WDC Nutrition
Borneo Supplement (for East Malaysia)
Mad Nutrition (mainly Sabah)

Overseas:
iHerb

Closed/ Out of Business:
maxtrition

PS:
1. I'm not affiliated with any of these sites or sellers.
2. I personally don't like blogs and FB selling, cause need to inquire for price and you need to go through all that posts to know current stock and updated price (especially for blogs). Good thing is you can bargain unlike dedicated websites which price is already fixed.

I have one as well:

http://www.iherb.com/

sells mostly any kind of food supplement, not just restricted to sports. Includes fish oil, vitamins etc

if you are first time customer, you could get 5 USD discount of total orders using coupon code TUN147.

I usually get my fish oil from there.

Thank you. Will add to the list.
I think maxtrition was owned by Kevin Zahri and has been closed down? He still sells some supplements on his own website, kevinzahri.com, but he only carries very few products.

Is that an overseas retailer? Have you had any problems ordering from them in terms of customs clearance and the condition of items when u receive them? I am quite hesitant to order overseas because I've heard of many problems with Malaysia customs. Heck, if bb.com still ships here I would definitely buy from them because the price plus shipment is still cheaper than any local seller.

Keep em coming guys so that we can buy what we really want at the cheapest price.

Yes that is an overseas retailer. No problems with custom clearance if you buy in small quantity(for eg 2-3 bottles of the same product etc). There are only a few options for shipping. One is international shipping flat rate 4usd or go with courier with DHL or UPS which costs around 16usd and increases with heavier items.

The funny thing is, if you courier over, the msian customs would be more strict. If you choose the international shipping flat rate, they would not open, but just pass thru customs easily, meaning they are less strict with this option. The only downside is you are limited to 3lbs per shipment. It works fine for me as I only use it to get my fish oils. They came without any problems. No broken glass bottles at all smile.gif , though you would need to wait for 2-3 weeks minimum to get your stuff. So if you do intend to ship using the cheapest option, just order early in advance.

Good to hear that you never had problems dealing with them. I've browsed through the site and I must say the price of some of the items are on par with bb.com. Will definitely try it when my supplements run out. Thanks

Nope. Haven't had the chance ordering from them yet as they have halt shipment to Malaysia. But my bro ordered from them before few years back and said they were great, price and quality wise.

I'm not usually a fan of blogs selling supplements cause it can get messy sometimes and hard to go through every new posts to search for what we want and it's current price. Better to go through forum threads here in lowyat.

Good to know. How long did it take for the package to arrive? And is it cheaper than local retail price?
