I can go to GNC and pay the crazy price if that is the only solution.

Sorry, noob here. I saw a shop (muscle factory) in times square but it sold at much lower price (like 50 to 60% cheaper) compared to GNC for a same brand and product.

Is it reliable?

Is there such case as fake supplement for shop which is not GNC?

Eat surplus on your TDEE is how you gain weight, eat gainers while still below TDEE will gain you nothing.

Let say your TDEE(daily calorie need) is 2000kcal
The supp gives u 300kcal

Lets do the math.

Yes if
You eat 2000kcal from food, 300kcal from supp
Total 2300kcal, 300 surplus
You will gain weight

No if
You eat 1500kcal from food, 300kcal from supp
Total 1800kcal, 200 deficit
You will lose weight

If you don't know your TDEE and don't how much you eat per day and expect supp to work, 99% of the time you're wasting your money.
Supplement is more expensive version of food in powder form

Step 1
Know how much you need to eat
Step 2
Eat more than you need to gain weight, eat less than you need to lose weight

Any idea where to get good products of the following:

1. non-stimulant pre-workouts (containing beta-alinine, citrulline, etc. other more evidence based ones) - tried to search for it at places like eji & musclemania but seems like they're out of stock
2. caffeine pills - don't think it's sold in M'sia

I know it seems like a contradictory choice, but going to use the above two in different scenarios. One for daytime and the other for night time workouts.

1. ON? i seen my friend taking their amino energy tub... contains beta alanine and also caffeine.
2. gnc has some form of caffeine pill, but obviously not cheap.

ON? Yea maybe I'll try searching for some of the individual supps, not sure how it'd taste from mixing. Will update you if I manage to find it.
