just completed my 5000km service, did normal services plus tyre balancing and allignment (advised by SC), later on found a nail on my left rear wheel which caused the tyre pressure to be lower than the rest..after servicing total is RM176.
I look at the receipt it stated tyre balancing and allignment cost RM25 and RM27 each plus 'tampal' RM5 for the rear wheel tyre, the rest like engine oil is standard. So now my question is does both allignment and balancing cost so much which is around RM50 ?? bcz it took them lest than 15 minutes to complete the task and I am just curious...

cos i'm currently studying in johor, but my family is helping to get it in kl, so i din realy get to look at the cars personally..
i personally like white colour, but i'm not sure if the colour will get oxidised stained after a few years..like those old iswara / wira.. i

I just bought a Saga basic model... with the side mirror , handle and the plate at the boot un-paint.
I wish to get all these item painted and i'm not sure how much it will cost. I'm staying at Ipoh. Any recommendation for the car painter here in Ipoh. Color is solid white. Thank you and please advice.

bro.. the color depend on u..hih.. i personally like Solid White, Granite Grey and Blue Rock... but when heard for granite @ blue rock need to be wait for atleast 1 month, i jump n bought solid white... plus i bought the plet number aldy at jpj, so need to be transfered to vehicle within one month... i think solid white need to wash more frequently compare to other dark color....

and the diff between Proton Saga FL Executive 1.3AT (S) at RM42,848 and Proton Saga FL Executive 1.3AT (M) at RM43,298 is Solid and Metallic Car Paint.... :rolleyes:

no problems.. stated in the showroom, the white color is Solid White... buttt..... its not like old car color...that called Fade White.... u can view my ride, from the pics, the white color is reflecting like mirror..

any kind of car when u get it ..it is glossy...reflective
but u need to wash and wax your car regularly or else your white will fade to yellow soon

your car, your call. both got pro and con. i heard black quite limited coz demand quite high. white easy to get coz demand lesser, but regarding the yellowing issue, as long u got a roof for ur ride, it wont be a problem.

siuyi , last time i wanted to book solid white , but sa said white very limited stock , cos ppl mostly prefer white instead of solid blk due to heat issue , blk generates more heat during sunny days lol

and oh ya.. u guys did say that to count fc.. need to refuel until it vomit right..? alright.. i did try on my sis viva.. sorry this is kinda in this thread.. but i would like to share some info.. i refuel my sis's viva.. when it still got 3 bar.. and refuel rm50 ron95.. as it reaches around rm40.. the fuel lever auto-stop sound..then as usual.. i keep press n let go non-stop.. and end result.. reach rm50..every time it happens and i still can manage to squeeze extra rm10 into it after it auto-stop.. i think u guys that experience the auto-stop in ur blm.. shud try to keep filling it in.. XD sometimes when u think that it auto-stop means its full..but actually.. its the extra gas in the fuel tank the one causing the fuel to rise up to the fuel nozzle thus making it auto-stop.. after i tried rm50.. surprisingly.. i cant see the fuel yet in the hole.. a small little car that wont feel full.. LOL

need to learn more about blm and hope can get more info from u guys.. =)

10 ringgit after stop still can't see fuel? how was were you pumping the last 10? petrol vaporises fast you know....the slower you pump ( the last 10 ), the more you're wasting

normally i could get in 3-4 ringgit after auto stop before petrol comes to the brim....

I can normally squeeze in another 1-2 litres after the nozzle trips automatically

In terms of petrol consumption, there isn't much difference between my two frequent brands, Caltex and Petronas. I got 7.9 L / 100 km for my second last tank before this one (Petronas), after that tried Caltex and got 7.8 (my last tank). The difference can be accounted for by the fact that I had to make several short and inefficient trips (including driving up and down my six storey car park at work ) on the Petronas tank. There's some rough analysis on my Fuelly page below. My routes, traffic condition and driving habits are fairly consistent.

Currently on Primax 95 Xtra. Not feeling much difference, at the moment Gonna drive kaw kaw on this tank first, then on my next tank keep a light foot and see if it's any better than the 7.9 L / 100 km I achieved last time on the Pre-95 Xtra fuel
