Perhaps I can answer on behalf of Laily.
Details for the accommodation can be found through Jeju Hiking Inn website: http://www.hikinginn.com
For van, you will have to contact Mr Kevin Kim via email jeju@hikinginn.com as it is not stated in the website.

Thank you Rsalf & Laila. I have chk out their website. I have email to Yeha tour too. It seems that Hiking Inn is cheaper. The plus point for Hiking Inn is, they have tradtional Korean room. I would very much want to try it. My sister too smile.gif

Hello Listiani,

Maybe you already know but for the sake of others who don't, if you are sleeping the ondol style, remember not to put any plastic and electronic equipments on the heated floor.

Also, always place a glass of water on the table when you're sleeping so you won't be dehydrated.

Wow!! Sophie. Seriously, I didn't know that. Why no plastic or electronic equipment on the floor?? Is that including Handphone?? I normally like to put my handphone next to the pillow when I sleep.

Yes, it will damage the electronics (handphones too) if you put them on the heated floor overnight or for days.

Actually when I was in South Korea, slept on bed but with heated floor, I felt stuffy and dehydrated even though I wasn't even sleeping on the floor. So my advice is to always put a glass of water on the table if you're staying in a room with heated floor smile.gif

I didn't know Hiking Inn have ondol bed..I got a 3 person bedroom with a single bed and a double decker bed.Inside the tilam got heater...so nice!!! And also at the lantai. I tried the ondol at Namsan when I stayed at Yun Guesthouse. I have to agree with Sophistafunk the room feels stuffy.Plus it was a room for 6 person. But I don't regret the experience.

I opened the window but it was chilly at night so I only opened a little bit. It was still stuffy..

For those who have been to Jeju, did you rent scooter/bike there? Any experience to share?

Well, The heat from the floor although warm & not so hot but if the outside temp is higher than 5C, the overall room can be very hot.

there was 1 nite when I was there, the outside temp was ~ 7C and the room feel hot.
