Wow, I will pick (e). I will let it go when it exceeds half life or perhaps 70% of its lifeĀ  biggrin.gif
*
haha ezrasang, let it go and then just buy back the same camera model or wait for the shutter to fail then just fix the shutter ? i think in monetary terms it's cheaper to just fix the shutter right ?

QUOTE(vearn27 @ Mar 4 2011, 05:08 PM)

hi guys, since there are so many students here...
wanna ask this multiple choice question ..

you have a dslr that is fast approaching it's expected shutter life
ie. d300 & d700 - 150,000 exposures , d3 - 300,000 exposures.

what do you do ?

a) use until the shutter fails and then get a new shutter
b) send the camera for servicing
c) sell off the dslr at a very cheap price ( informing the buyer/shop of the SC of cos )
d ) don't use the camera anymore
e ) none of the above !
*
why u so worried about shutter life span huh? no nid worry la..and if for me, if the camera still can use, i repair the shutter la..if the newer n better model come out edi, sell the old one, buy new one la..

Well, I depends on situation actually. If there's newer model, then upgrade. If I love it (FX body) so much, then I will just replace the shutter. It will costs RM4xx (depends on camera model though).

Those crumplers? 6MD or 7MD lor.. get those OEM very cheap geh~ tongue.gif

I use a Urban Disguise 35 got it at RM380. Fits a lot of stuffs, but can be quite bulky at times lol.

D700 + 70200 + 1635/85 + SB900 + Netbook. Pretty good tongue.gif.

I can fit a D3s + 24-70 into a crumpler 5mdh. Pretty low profile for now. tongue.gif For your need, a 6mdh will work but if you want some extra room for your lenses/body, 7mdh would be a better choice. rclxms.gif

Define stylish. tongue.gif Usually the most popular bags are from ThinkTank, Crumpler and Domke if you are looking at shoulder bags smile.gif

I'm still sticking to the "Nikon Professional Leather Bag" LOL
Fit D3s + 24-70/17-35 + 70-200 + SB900 with extra space at front and back flat compartment.

hmm its really hard eh to define... lets skip the stylish term...

I would prefer one which is not that bulky looks better than the ori nikon bag... sling bag...easy access to cam and lens...
