u need internet connection to update....the initial process is just download the updater
then proceed to next stage which is download the firmware binary file...then only install

i removed Kies, downloaded and installed it again (got from Samsung Malaysia website)

downloading firmware upgrade components works

but once i click Start upgrade, the program stops working same as before

i noted that Kies looses connection with the phone at that point, though it recovers in a few seconds - is that normal?

agree with that

it just shows how Samsung, like Nokia before them, is very much a hardware company

damn good hardware though

u need to slide the top tab to the left, or hold longer to rearrange the tab...

bada 2.01 is very well polished firmware....many features are been upgrade n improved... got me more than 1 hour to play around with the new setting and features..only existing apps n widget some are not functioning ..but is not bother me too much because shp n im are fully functioning...gud reason for me to keep this wave more longer rclxms.gif
