omg..so gud. just send my phone on 2/3/11 around 4pm, next day 1pm already got msg come for collection. maybe my luck, the service is tiptop, no fuss at all... the camera button suddenly become so stupid + lag, need to press hard to focus and capture and the flash will blinking over and over for nothing.. rite now back to normal..great! just want to ask, if we upgrade firmware to 1.2, is all contact, msg and apps will be stay there? need to reinstall or what? if not, i really hope for update.

i'm not sure what my firmware is...but i never upgrade it. it still genuine from the day i bought the phone. the receptionist say problem wit camera button, not firmware. i not seeing any changes on my fw after service. just send to samsung centre laa, everyhtin can be done...settle all problem.. if out of warranty, i dunno how much they will charge. but btter try ask than nothing..

Added on March 12, 2011, 5:31 pmi think ndrive is better than sygic. at least it got lane assist. i'd tried all the gps apps, but i'm not sure which one got speed camera detector. which one huh? never tried on long distance highway. but then, all i can see route66 is the fastest on capturing car location. once we turn on junction, the navigation will directly update. ndrive, sygic and papago had some lag when approaching a turn.

8 months from the first day, still no firmware update? just a stupid silly update just to stop ppl from crack pirate apps, but then no more? always thinkin on profit, but no improvement.. oh my, samsung really pissed off.....

weird... electronic arts have lots of good well known game, but why only release in java version? and where ther f*** is bada 1.2?!!

yeah.... i also had the same problem as above, but no biggie issue for me, bada shud have a nice proper facebook apps....same like android and iOS version bcoz rite now what we have is completely non user friendly. got 2 question here ..

1) is there anybody out there able to upgrade their facebook apps, i can see that certain firmware also enable facebook chat? anyone?

2) samsungapps introduce new system, buying paid apps using phone bill method... here in malaysia can or not? it will be good if we can....very very very need it...

lets say the android project successful and samsung can run apk files... i surely flash it directly.. no more promise from samsung on bada update..

no problem on the file sharing blocked, still can bypass that .... plus, 4shared still can use as normal... most apk file got from 4shared thou...

i heard dat the android porting also don't support for gsm/3g at the time being, which mean still cannot use to make calls @ sms .... no use, coz what i need from android is VOIP and 3g messaging (whatsapps etc. ) ... so better wait. but, there's no wrong for trying .... why dun u try first and give some positive comments here

samsung support for wave, very stupid and slow. first bada os phone, so useless. bad impression

just do the firmware flashing, do the apps spoofing, settle ... done, bada just great. or just port ur wave to android froyo. wave just superb ....

bfore diz i found lots of custom firmware for bada 1.2 dat allow spoofing and in call recording function ..if diz official update restrict dat, i better stay wit current one. sumbudy done spoofing here? plz share.. thx =)

just want to ask, if anybody already experience diz .... currently our official firmware for bada 1.2 is s8500dxkf1. so, can we use diz bootloader to port android into wave? reason why, first bcoz i dun wan to flash custom firmware coz dun want losing important sms, 2nd - there's a lot of game and apps that will never come to bada ...even bada 2.0. thanks~
