try to clear ur internal memory such as internet browsing data......or any apps install in the phone memory....may be can work...

That's why samsung using many excuses.. My battery was full, and kies said I should charge my battery.. Lol

I have the same problem also. Kies keep saying I "need another 13MB space, please delete unnecessary system file"
Tried on other pc, still the same.
Have you got any solution already?

The best solution is give to samsung service centre, they will do for you, without master reset your phone. I get this information from website.

Thanks for the suggestion but to get to the service centre is quite impossible for me as the service centre is quite far from my place and their working hours is same as my working hours.
Still prefer to update it on my own, if I could.

try uninstall apps installed in internal memory, close all running widget n restart than try update again.

I installed all on apps to memory card..shouldn't have any problem about that

Samsung kies said cannot connect to phone and bla..bla... after 100 % ... i think finish alredy... i restart phone and check version is 1.2.. successful... But give me sakit kepala because now cannot connect to samsung kies.... samsung2... The phone is ok not hang.. and very smooth... mmmmm.....

Finally got my phone updated to 1.2 ^^
I can connect to kies, running on XP
And I notice the phone still can be used even though connected with kies, unlike previous version 1.0

i think kies on 64bit windows has many trouble....some time will stop working, corrupt my display driver and bla bla bla....

Added on July 29, 2011, 8:01 pmi called samsung call center yesterday because my kies hang and my phone cant be used after upgrading the firmware through kies.. to my surprise, they dont even know that the firmware is now available in kies.. they kept saying i downloaded it from another website, that is not the official firmware for malaysia, not supposed to be in kies.. some more they said, Wave 1 only can use bada 1.0 and bada 1.2 is only meant for Wave 2.. i dont know what to say anymore, luckily the purpose i'm calling them was just to ask about the svc ctr operating hour, unless i'll make sure to complain already.. =.="

managed to upgrade the firmware.. but had to clear up a lot of things in my phone... tried almost 20x...

nice for the 2.0 update ... at last, this forum revive back .... just asking, no need to reinstall apps rite? and apps spoofing ... i mean crack games, function or not in this official firmware? had anyone tried?

can download from samfirmware.....me not download yet and xda forum just said tomorrow will release another fix and more stable version ....may be i'll try that...link

here the user feedback already flashing to 2.0.1 bada..link

nope, 32-bit

i tried on laptop with Windows 7 Ultimate and a netbook using Windows 7 Starter

both got same problem

the program gets stuck as soon as you click Start Update, the window where it says Preparing Update Components

wish Samsung had OTA update

u try to off ur firewall...coz first there is the setting say wan save ur info on the samsung server...
if u click tat terms, and firewall is on..then will occur error...
P/S: as ur info bada 1.2 for wave 1 dun have OTA update features
