ya usually my lcd oso looks great but output is underexposed, so might need to up 1 or 2 stop for better exposure, i found out frm my a33, always underexposed even my lcd looks good..

yup, but damn confuse, coz i been using cheap and easy to use phone for the pass 4 year, get lost in android few times.

Cant, my LCD shows all perfectly exposed. Only when I come home, xfer it to my comp, Only I find it underexposed. How... Lol.

did u view your camera LCD under bright sunlight
or try to change the LCD brightness n see what's the differences

Ok Guys.. need some help here.. Have decided to take the plunge.. will be buying A55 next week.
Like the size.. my hands are small n the wife and girl will find it just right size wise. Like the HDR and panorama sweep.. and I think it would be good for beginners to start off..
Anyway.. I will be using it for family functions and the ocassional travel trip.. so need to ask.. thinking of getting the 16-105 will this be ok? .. don't wanna think of upgrading in the near future.. maybe just a flash later on. What do you think ?
Also, what else should I get.. filters.. which type?

the lens is VERY good for the price. and not too big for A55 (compare to 18-250)

Flash, u can haggle with the shop for F20, small and cheap, but powerful to use.

filter, i would recommend B+W MRC UV ALLOY Filter F-PRO for budget and reliable filter (62mm for your 16-105). should not more then rm150. its a really good filter with high scratch resistance, and easy to clean finger print/oil off with just wiping
