guys..what the best modem out there to pair out with my simply rom..my gps is SIMPLY not working..hehehe

Xxjve modem is the best modem ive tested so far! Gps signal is greatly improved

Well im using insanity 0.6.3 that comes together with that modem. Its a modem extracted from JV1 (gingerbread) leak rom i guess.. However nitr8 does put a link for the modem upgrade. Not sure u can upgrade it directly (coz its only compatible with previous insanity rom), but my best advice would be extract the modem.bin and flash it with odin. I do have alternative to flash it from cwm, but its much more hassle..

yeah..i checked the imodem.zip from the link you gave me...the important things when want to flash tru cwm is META-INF and update folder...hehehe..if anything goes wrong...perhaps nothing will goes wrong...never heard somebody flash modem and killed his dog!!!hahaha

Haha. I like your joke.. Previously i was on zsjpg (latest modem from hk region) and before that zsjpe modem (the modem comes with simply galaxy rom), gps was fine, although nothing astounding.

i used zsjpe modem from simply rom..weird...cannot get a single sat insight...used with both fasterfix and gps aids..that's why i gonna try different modem..

i switched to serendipity atm lol

I made a CWM package for XXJVE modem for those who may afraid that the imodem.zip is only compatible for insanity rom. I've tested it and should be compatible for all roms.

same with me, i thot using zsjpe modem can make the satellite locks better for darky 9.3, but still the same...

did u try the xxjve modem? that's the new GB modem right? btw, ur flowchart diagram is okay. cover and complete all the basic juga.

for those who using XXJVE modem.. one question here..

currently owning myself a samsung i9000 aka galaxy s..after using the ori froyo 2.2,i found that da phone respond slow and keep hanging all da time..so any suggestion or recommended way to made it better n smoother as those in youtube..

You can start by flashing kernel and enable lagfix first. If you do not like lagfix, you can try 2.2.1 firmware.
