Mini is for smaller and less powerful phones like htc tattoo
Mobile is for higher end phones such as ours

Darkys v8.0? Wa, it's so ancient.  smile.gif
The later versions r smoother n snappier but the battery life is not much better.

Ancient? Only 2 month already ancient ka? lol shocking.gif

On the latest Sweet honey ROM, any link and any updates on how to root? Im still using ODIN to root my SGS...

How about the battery lifespan? I hate when ppl compare my SGS with Iphone lousy battery life...

2 months in android world is ancient smile.gif maybe not to iphone users who are not used to fast and regular updates.

Rooting by flashing speedmod by odin is fine. For sweethoney, better to flash stock rom first before flashing the wipe version.

As for battery life, I'm consistently getting 1%/1hour idle drain with wifi on for either insanity or sweethoney rom when using speedmod kernel

if you want to flash to custom roms after this, choose eclair DXJG4

if you want to stick to stock rom, choose DXJPE the current stock FW for our region

doesn't need internet when flashin thru odin...just download the firwmware and flash with odin..method on the first page...cheerss

I think it doesn't matter which stock firmware, because they all firmwares can have CWM by flashing speedmod kernel by odin. I like hardcore's instruction in his blog, it is more detailed.

http://touristinparadise.blogspot.com/2010...to-install.html

once this kernel is flashed, you'll get CWM, then can flash any custom rom by recovery.

hehe..yeahs...what i gave just now is the simpler method.....cwm and speedmod is just another step for beginner flasher...hehehe..i afraid i might confuse them with cwm terms..i did observed the last few pages of posts...a lot of peoples confused when the time come for them to flash new rom..hehe

but the hardcore's instruction is very2 details...

p/s : when i first come to flash and root..by the time there was only odin and oneclick lagfx by ryanza...so not much confusion then..

gingerbread browser is hardware-accelerated. but comparing with the leaked one, opera mobile 11 wins hands down

what means for wipe? now i using stock rom. can i flash directly to darky's v9.4?

If u flash fr wipe, it totally erases ur app n data, contacts n sms if u dont do a back up. So, u hv to re-install them after flashing. Wht stock rom r u on? Shld be able to do if u know how.
