It actually can be DIY if you know how to dismantle and fix back the iphone 4. Take note that it is not an easy procedure. smile.gif

my IP4 use for 2 months and still ok touchwood. But my ipad use for 3 months got symptom liau. Hard to press. The home button not responding well at all..

just got my iPhone 4 one-to-one replacement at Maxis KLCC. you should be able to get it on the same day if stock if available but in my case, it took 3 working days, which is still fine with me.

my fren just got his ip4 and aware with home button problem. i advised him by using activator as to emulate home button. so in daily use, he almost never touch the home button. switch on from standby mode using power button instead. nod.gif

yesterday i went to klcc to replace my iphone 4 due to home button issue. however they told me no stock until wednesday only. cry.gif

so today i went to maxis ttdi to try my luck. and in 15min i got new iphone 4 as replacement thumbup.gif

but only for jailbroken phone la kawan...
if not jailbreak how to use the activator?

the non jailbroken one still need to replace the home button to fix this..
hopefully incoming iphone5 should get rid of this home button.. blush.gif

yup. need jb. what i'm said is one of the solution to prevent using home button frequently.

Already jb and installed activator since 1st day. But still biasa d to use home button lol

Anybody ever jailbreak and restore when wanna go claim for the home button..and maxis or digi detected that they have jailbreak before..and they said void the warranty?

I Restored and nothing happened. They didnt detect .

Have restored many sets from jailbreak and send back for warranty claim. None been detected.. smile.gif
