QUOTE(nuke13 @ Jan 12 2016, 12:44 PM) What's the current standard price for installing 2x2 tiles in a 500sqft living room? Labor + Material and Labor only if I decide to buy the material myself. thanks in advance 2X2 tiles is around RM10+ to RM20+.Expect the labor to be similar to the price of your tiles. Example: Tiles for 500sqft = RM2k then your labor also looking at RM2k. Total RM4k. |

Hi all, I'm replacing the tiles for my place. My contractor told me that there is promotion for tiles at RM17 to RM21 per tile. He said these are top quality. Is that reasonable? I estimated the materials themselves will cost around 20k. The labor will be at least 10k.
Anyone can advise if the price is reasonable? Now I'm also considering to do timber flooring instead. Anyone can share any experience with timber flooring? |

Went to Super Ceramic the other day to look for tiles for my kitchen countertop, saw that they mainly sell Citigres tiles from China. Any sifus have input on this brand? Now tiles mainly from china, any problem with their quality? Thanks

Apparently my exiting floor has a number of hallow tiles. Been ok for these past few years but recently the temp was high so some started to pop. I'm trying to decide if I should just replace the popped parts or just change everything |

Been ok for these past few years but recently the temp was high so some started to pop. I'm trying to decide if I should just replace the popped parts or just change everything I think the price seem to be expensive as you mention 20k for material, meaning the tiles. For 1200 sq feet for a 2x2 tiles will need about 450 pieces. So if the price is RM21x450 = RM9450. Well if you can find the same old tiles is better to replace just the few pieces. |

My contractor can't find exact replacements cos my tiles are 1x1 which I was told that most people use 2X2 these days. Probably will just replace the popped tiles for now, |
