QUOTE(sonerin @ Jan 1 2016, 02:20 PM) Trust me, you won't find the answer. Technical specs is almost non existent in Malaysia for tiles. Brand like MML and Feruni is a safe bet Hahaha, yup. that's the impression I'm getting too. I'm going to pay MML show unit a visit to try my luck anyway since I want to look at more of their selections haha. Thanks for your feedback |

QUOTE(supersound @ Jan 1 2016, 01:50 PM) If your child are sensitive, shall check what is he sensitive about, not just keep on getting "clean" stuffs for him as this is sweeping the problem under the carpet. hahaha let's hope I have the budget for that. We know what he is sensitive to. That's why we are trying to avoid that. He is already on very strict diet. That's why we are very cautious of everything we use and eat haha.Using air cond for prolong period of time, eating rubbish from fast food restaurants are the main cause. If you really worry, just get marble and call it the day. |

Is there a grout or adhesive for installing the tiles that are toxic free? or at least less toxic? or is that also too much to ask for in Malaysia hahaha. Any recommendations?

Noob here. Appreciate if someone could rank the quality of tiles according to brand (eg guocera, Niro, feruni etc). Appreciate that. Thanks!

Hi, base of my experience (i'm a ID/contractor), I would prefer Guocera and mml, due to the texture and quality. The price is on on the high side compare to white horse or venus though.

I think price ranking should be following:
Feruni>Niro Granite>MLM>Guocera>White Horse>Alpha *MLM is famous for its hardness among contractors. Most important is to get grade 1 tiles for the uniformity and overall quality. Normally ceramic tiles for wall and porcelain tiles for floor. Now a lot Vietnam and Chinese manufactured tiles especially 2x2. Look nice in terms of outlook and price but i am not dare to try. Prices of Guocera tiles in Putrajaya Homepro quite ok but my SIFU said is grade 2 de (i bought wall tiles)... He complained bit difficult to match as the edges not uniform but said quality still ok. Anyway, overall still ok after half a year... |

I went to Feruni PJ showroom today and was quoted RM8-RM12 psf. is it expensive? btw for wood-like tiles, what is the heights for skirting? my contractors asks for 100mm but feruni series only has 75mm and 150mm
