yes. Only floor. I think around 28 sf.

OMG!?!! Jz 28sqft for hack the original floor tiles and lay the new tiles + water proof cost RM1800?
Even it is included tiles .... dont you think is too expensive? Or maybe it is because of too minor renovation?

Are you sure it is only floor???..again, if you are just changing the floor tiles and only doing water proofing for floor area, you are likely to have leakage issue..waterproofing at least better to do for 5 feet wall height..

If seeing from your 28sqft floor size, i assume your bathroom size will be 7ft lgth x 4 ft width x 9 ft wall height..

Total area wall + floor will be approx 226 sqft. My contractor charge me RM7/sqft to hack off,to screed, waterproofing and to relay tiles up to 5 ft height per my request..balance 4 ft wall height is calculated at RM5/sqft to hack off,to screed and to relay tiles..tiles excluded

So if 226 sqft=RM7 x 226 = RM1582..I would say this is quite close and more logic..for waterproofing material(sika top) it will cost another RM 115~120

In my case, I actually count to actual sq ft..to minus the door area of 18sqft and even the casement window another 8sqft

floor + 0.5 ft wall , due to minor reno, so charge lump sum. Other contractors quote higher than rm1800.

Wow, it is very expensive..your reno not considered small job with the others..but main concern is the water proofing, will you face any issue after that..better get assurance from contractor..that is my opinion of course

Hi Melvin,

Pm me your quantity and the type of color you want. I'm a tile seller. Might be able to help you out.

Hi, may I know what tiles are u dealing in? Need to retile a front car porch for a brand new home that we plan to move in soon. Our current car porch tiles 10" x 10" makes loud tyre noise like 'jiiiiiahg....' whenever we reverse out. This is highly disturbing in the early morning. We don't know what type of tiles as we are only renting there. Hope to avoid the same in our future home.

Appreciate your reply. Thanks.

Price depends on working conditions and location.
Much higher for condo renovation due to restrictions.
