I would like to ask for some opinion:

1) To hack the wall tile and laying back new wall tile for 2 bathrooms.
- 390 SQFT = RM3470

2) To hack the floor tile and laying back new floor tile and water proofing for 2 bathrooms.
- 58 SQFT = RM1600

is the price too expensive? or reasonable?

include tiles price?
If not then super expensive.

not including tiles,
is including labour, material, lay tiles, hacking
yes, is including water proof, the water proof the contractor said amrket is around 10-12 / sqft, taht is for 1-2 layer,
they do for at least 3 layers for separate 3 days, is RM15/sqft ...

To hack one tiles bout RM1-1.5 per sq.
To lay one tiles (workmanship + cement balancing and susu) bout RM4.2-5.5.

So 390sq bathroom bout.
Assuming we are taking the highest of what i know.
hacking = RM 585
Lay Tiles + Material (Except tiles price) = RM 2145

Means total bout RM 2730 only.

Even if include the tiles I guess the price stays around RM 3500 - RM4000 only.
More over the estimation above is based on worst case scenario on small portion of hacking, so i guess can reduce till around RM1.2 hacking + RM4.5 per sq (workmanship + cement + susu), for ur case.

As I calculate, the wall is RM8.5 / sqft without tiles included,
but for floor is around RM12 / sqft, I wonder why the floor and wall price are so different, and they tell me plenty of reason, I wonder is the real? of they jz give me non-sense excuse.

Waterproofing i not so sure i need to check with my contractor.
But so far the tiles wise is super expensive without include the tiles.
My bathrooms stays around RM4K with white horse tiles laying + water proofing (not sure how many layers i need to check) and an aluminium door.
my sq bout 6 x 8 sq too

Try get few quotation and compare don't simply fall into their trap.
And make sure finish the work only make the payment.

Installation for water tap, water heater, toilet bowl, tower bar and sampah sarap  rclxms.gif
can be costly too, so if possible make sure they can do it for u too.

One important question.
did u reposition ur toilet bowl, water tap etc? it could be cost up to RM700-1000 if u do it for ur bathroom.
*
the installation of the sanitary and water tap all that is already included for the plumber cost. I separate it
I didnt change the location of the toilet bowl all that, I jz hack off whole bathroom tiles and change new tiles.

But is it real the floor and wall is cost diff price? coz RM8.5 for wall, but RM12 for floor, why it is so diff?

cheaper than me.
My minor reno are:
Change 1 bathroom floor tile (rm1800), open a hole(rm200) for hob and remove car porch pillar to side with built a new pillar without roof because already got skylight (rm4200).

Other contractor quote me more expensive than rm1800 for bathroom floor.

They told me due to minor reno so they quote lump sum.

how many square feet for your bathroom tiles? you only change the floor tiles?

I guess ur bathroom bout around 6x9 feet since u mentioned water proofing 58sq.

Even it is included tiles .... dont you think is too expensive? Or maybe it is because of too minor renovation?
