Hi,

I'm a full time Unit Sales Manager from Great Eastern Life Assurance with several years of experience in Insurance industry for saving plan, protection plan and medical plan as low as RM3 per day.

Insurance is actually a risk sharing medium among the a group of healthy people with the sick one because the group of healthy people knows that someday someone will help them when they need it.

So now let's talk about Life insurance vs medical insurance
Life insurance is the lump sum of payment given out when one diagnose with certain pre-defined covered event such as Death/Total&Permanent Disability and 36 Critical Illness.
Medical insurance is the coverage by the insurance company to pay for the medical bill from the hospital.

So why does one need both Medical and Life insurance?
Imagine that Mr.Lee poo poo got blood and went to hospital for checkup, he is diagnosed with bowel cancer stage 3 after the checkup. The medical bill cost up to RM70,000 for the surgery. This is not the whole amount yet, because for every chemotherapy in the future for almost twice per week, the bill is claimable under his medical card too.

The story hasn't ended yet, since he is hospitalized for about 10 days, the doctor has certified that he is not fit to work for the next 6 months. The next thing he knows is his boss asked him to have a "good long rest". So, he loss his income generate power, and here comes the pay cheque from the insurance company to help him sustain his living expenses, car loan, property loan, MLM health product, Ogawa massage chair, practice Taichi or ask bomoh. Here comes the importance of Life insurance, especially Critical Illness coverage.

How Do You Get the Most Out of Your Health Insurance?
Insurance is not only helping you when you fall sick, in Great Eastern you can enjoy the additional benefit such as subscript True Fitness 2 one-year membership for the price of one, 20% off for GNC product, 10% off on World of sport for new arrival item etc..
All these you can enjoy when you are a Great Eastern policyholder. Go to the link below to view the full listing.
https://livegreat.greateasternlife.com/my/herooffers.htm
https://livegreat.greateasternlife.com/my/m...erofferpage.htm

Besides this, you can use up to Life/KWSP RM6000 and Medical/Education RM3000 tax relief to lessen your burden when paying for Income Tax, it's a win-win situation for both policyholder and the company.

We have just launched the best premier medical card in Malaysia, below is the main advantage of the medical card compare to other company.
1. No Co-Insurance for whatsoever reason.
2. Annual limit as high as RM990,000 to RM1,760,000, Yes, it's annual limit not lifetime limit.
3. Unlimited lifetime limit.
4. Automatic 10% increase in Room & Board in every 3 years.
7. Post-Hospitalisation Treatment as long as within 180 days after hospital discharge. Longest post treatment in Malaysia!
8. In hospital physician visits of twice per day.
9. Can stay in hospital up to 180 days per policy year.
10. Can stay in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for 180 days per policy year.
11. Pre hospitalization coverage of 60 days.
12. The basic plan to which this medical card is attached to provides 1% increase in basic sum assured free of charge every year. Let say the basic sum assured is RM200,000 and your annual premium is RM2,000. You pay RM2,000 annually, you get RM200,000 protection plus RM2,000 free additional protection every year.

I met Howard @ Chee Hao to speak to him in relation to insurance policies which I have now.

From a first impression, Howard is extremely passionate and attentive listener to my concerns.

What makes Howard different from other agents is how he has worked in several departments in Great Eastern (ranging from claims, planning etc) and understands the reality and intricacies of insurance business. He was able to explain to me the claims procedures and the decision making policies in relation to approval. I am impressed.

Buying insurance is a long term commttment and it is imperative that you have an agent that will be able to continually update and available when you need them (touch wood). Eventhough ultimately I have decided not to purchase any product from Howard, he informed me that he respected my decision and wishes to continue a long term networkings as friend. I think this is a good character that makes Howard different from other agents that would simply 'walk away'.

I am happy vouch and recommend Howard as a prospective agent for you.

He listened to my concerns patiently and he explained it to me in details with few examples for me to understand it better. I asked quite a few questions and he answered all of them promptly. He even gave good advice and I'm quite happy I found a great agent.

My top 2 choices were AIA & Great Eastern but in the end I chose Great Eastern because of Howard and I have a feeling he will be a good agent to rely on. Highly recommended!

Very patient and seems to have great communication skills, both online presence and in person. He answered all my emails professionally in a timely manner.

I have the feeling that Howard really LOVES insurance. When I compared his plan to another plan I was looking at, he saw gaps immediately and addresses which benefit is potentially better than others.

Keep it up, and great work smile.gif

Being a fresh graduate with a low budget in insurance, I knew that insurance was a long term commitment and hence I needed to know which is the best plan for me.

After having spent quite some time researching on what is the best product and meeting different insurance agent from different company - Howard stood up with his sincere and detailed explanations to all my questions (both long and short, and sometimes a bit silly), and he is really a very nice guy to talk as well! I would concur with what most people have said about him, he really demonstrated passion in the insurance field and has great attitude as well - would definitely recommend him and his services!

So yes, I bought my policy from him because I trust that he'll be a good agent to rely on! smile.gif

His great honesty, kind (extremely helpful), his past work experiences (read above, though still kinda new in the Industries) and most importantly, his culture of willingness to discuss and share with any legitimate inquirer - with no obligation to purchase. This was his ultimate asset. It is hard to find someone nowadays, that passionate with his line of work and yet, not being sombong, cursey*, choosy and promise-big. ## Refer footnote.

*Cursey - Haha. I am not sure there is such word. Nevertheless, I am trying to state, most of the Agents that I know, will use many examples of their clients' Claim/Hesitation/Whatsoever to convince.

I personally acknowledged that, shall I did not meet (virtually) with ExpZero - I may not value myself as "Annoyance to Typical Insurance Agents" this quick. ExpZero has brought many knowledges to me, by instantly show me Sales Illustration and had answered all questions, I directed to him.

Hence, I wish to thanks ExpZero for his outstanding assistance.

Hehe, ExpZero tongue.gif
I will get back to you with my decision very soon.

-----------------

## Get yourself to ask, read, learn and understand the Sales Illustration from your Agent.
Don't be afraid to ask. Your Financial Health raise on your own hand. Don't assume and Don't dependent on anyone to understand your Policy.
## Remember to Get yourself to be Financial Illiterate. Very Important.

Hi there! Could you kindly quote for me for a male, 36 years old, non-smoker, height 170 cm and weight 80 kgs please? Thanks!

By the way, is this truly a stand alone medical card or is tied to any investment plans? Does it also include coverage for critical illness or have options to include them? If yes, do let me know the options and costings involved. Thanks!
